While they were working on the house, we decided we wanted them to help us with more work and they quickly got us estimates for the extra work and they got the work done quickly as well. Lastly, we worked with them remotely and they shared photos about materials and the finished product. I could not have found a better team. From the day of the initial walk-through and bid to completion the team was professional, courteous, educational when needed, excellent communicators. They not only bring expertise they also bring integrity. They truly treat the job as if it was their own home. They removed/replaced old drywall, painted, remodeled down to the studs in some areas to expand the space as much as possible, replaced flooring, repaired poor plumbing from previous job, completely gutted and rebuilt the bathroom, replaced/repaired windows and doors. I was living and working in the house at the time, and they did an excellent job of minimizing disruptions. I was as informed as I needed to be - no more, no less. I would recommend them to everyone. I called Caraway and they were very familiar with this problem. Caraway was able to come out the next day. They not only disconnected the water line, but removed the old fridge and installed the new one. They had me up and running within an hour. Mr. Caraway and his son were so nice, calm and skillful. I was skeptical but after a week of realizing the part was not going to come in I hired him to clean it out and he was right! The water heater worked right away...so I don't know why they didn't suggest to clean it..either ignorance or something else?? Upset that I had to pay over 100 for service call...and nothing got fixed!

They repaired and patched all of the wood, feathering it in with reclaimed old pine that they sourced locally. They painted the walls, and restored and polyurethaned the old floors. Thoughtful work, completed on schedule, for reasonable pricing. The only (small) cost overrun was because some of the wood patching was more extensive than anticipated, and Mr. Gomez communicated with us clearly when that happened. The crews and Mr. Gomez were very kind, efficient, and helpful-- a joy to be around. The farmhouse is now beautiful and authentic. We definitely will call Mr. Gomez for our next job.
