    I honestly had a great experience at Car Choice! I was in the market for a used luxury suv under a certain amount of miles & price. I worked from Christine and she was great start and finish. I highly recommend checking them out if you are on the car hunt!

After 4 months I took it for an oil change and there is a major oil leak and the air conditioning is not blowing cold air. These are all issues that I addressed with them and was told never to f....ing call there again. They kept the warranty money after I cancelled it, they charged me $3,000 more than they quoted me. They are rude, disrespectful, and scammers. Run from this dealership and spread the word. They wouldn't take the car back when I called the very next day to return it after the drive home.

I replied to the thread by asking for 3 things: the vehicle's carfax, the invoice with info on the car and an itemized list of the out the door price. All things I ask for before I step foot in a dealership. Edwin stated that he cannot give me a price over text... wrong... he wouldn't do it. Stay away from these kinds of dealerships that are not transparent. I then asked for a manager to contact me... he replied with the dealership's number and said to ask for Edwin... he's a sales rep, not a manager. When I told him HE was Edwin, crickets... like I said, stay away from non-transparent dealers. UPDATE: He did eventually reply and confirmed he was Edwin folled up with, "Tell you what. Bring me all those breakdown prices after shopping around and let see what I can do for you". A GOOD dealership doesn't do this. They provide the seller with clear, transparent information and if they have the best price and a TRUSTWORTHY sales team, they get the sale. I have a 789 credit score, preapproved through my credit union... I am ready to go with a GOOD dealer... not this one.

And to be quite frank iv looked at over 60 trucks in the last month and half- everything has been garbage. This one seemed to be best mechanically that we had seen. The body had quit a bit of damage, interior they did and excellent job cleaning. I bought this truck and didn't even make it home. Had to call for a tow truck, the radiator had a crack in it, had to pay for the tow, mechanic and the radiator alone was $400. The cab of truck is also leaking there is water marks all over the headliner, wouldn't crank yesterday had it towed back to the mechanics and the truck needs head gaskets and batteries. I haven't even made my first payment on this truck. Very disappointed! I would never recommend this place.

    We were in search of an affordable and reliable car for our son who is in college. After weeks and…read moreweeks of combing the internet and visiting most of the used car lots in the Tampa Bay Area we came across the Auto Store of Tampa Bay II and we are so grateful we found it. The Auto Store of Tampa Bay is a small family owned and operated lot which is easy to miss amongst the many used car lots, congested and fast pace road it is located on. However, what attracted us to it was the noticeable cleanliness of all the vehicles on the lot. Every vehicle was detailed and display with so much pride we had go inside. After browsing the impressive lot out front we decided to go inside where we were greeted by Mike W. who was not overly pushy and very upfront about all the cars on the lot. He took the time to learn what our priorities were and answered all of our questions which were a lot. Lol We test drove the vehicle we were set to buy and notice the AC wasn't blowing as strong as it could have (keep in mind this was a 12 yr old car); Mike offered to take it to his mechanic for a check and recharge at no additional cost and even included that as a guarantee in the bill of sales. We planned to register the car in another state which became more complicated than we anticipated and Mike went above and beyond (2 weeks AFTER we purchased the car) to help us navigate the different registration and tax requirements; even helping us making calls to the Florida and out of state DMV's and getting some required forms notarized for us at no additional cost to us. Again this is a couple weeks after we purchased the car from them. Our overall experience with the Auto Store of Tampa was a great one! We were able to purchase an affordable, good looking, AND RELIABLE vehicle for our son. We will definitely be back for any future used car buying needs and HIGHLY recommended them to anyone who is hesitant about used car lots. Pros: Affordable Prices Professionally Detailed Vehicles Outstanding Customer Service Bilingual (English and Spanish) Honest about their inventory Easy to Work with and Negotiate Deal Available even after the sale is complete Good mix of newer and older cars all very clean Cons: Not the best location to get in and out of Parking is hit or miss Not the largest inventory in the area

Tom takes care of my vehicle and the service agents send me updates on it and also show me videos of the work needed to be done. They are very above board and reputable. The Odyssey is a great vehicle and I will be purchasing as new one soon, as after 11 + years and SO many miles, my little van is ready to retire soon. And I will go back to Brandon Honda. I was quoted $23,250 before taxes and fees in writing for a vehicle that was also advertised at $24,403. However, the contract I signed reflects a pre-tax price of over $36,000 -- a difference of more than $12,000. There is no reasonable explanation for this gap. It is not believable that a buyer would knowingly agree to pay over $12,000 more than both a written quote and the advertised price without clear disclosure. When I questioned this, I was routed to finance instead of a manager, i then went in myslef and was told in person that the starting price was around $27,000 (which does not match the original quote) There were also multiple inconsistencies with add-ons: $1,700 window tint which was never mentioned during signing (i have since specifically asked to have removed) A warranty described as "lifetime powertrain," turned to "8 years/120,000 miles," but the final documentation email now shows 5 years/100,000 miles During the signing process, my attention was repeatedly diverted with unrelated conversation, and I was not provided a clear, itemized breakdown explaining how the price increased. I was also not given a copy of my contract or paperwork at the time of purchase, which prevented me from reviewing the final terms immediately. I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Florida Attorney General, and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Dealerships should honor their written quotes and advertised pricing, not present one number upfront and finalize another. A $12K difference isn't a misunderstanding , it's a problem.

Lou and Mike are some of the best dealership owners I have ever encountered in my 20+ years in Automotive. They know their business, AND they know how to treat their customers. Never have I seen another store put so much thought and care into their operations and refining the customer experience. I love the fact that they have 99+ photos of every vehicle. It really gave me a chance to understand all of the details of every car before I had to spend anytime at their store.     We recently went to purchase a vehicle for our daughter. This was a CASH deal. The vehicle was on…read moretheir site as a Manager Special. The price was marked through as if the price would be less, that was a joke. We went from a vehicle being just under $16,000 to over $24,000. Again this was a CASH deal. We had them explain why there was $8,000 difference. Let's say there's a lot of fluff they like to add. We asked the sales manager or finance guy to explain to us all the extra charges they added the vehicle. He said without it the vehicle couldn't cost less. So basically the extra makes up for them charging less on the vehicle. We negotiated the numbers, he came back with a lesser amount than $24,000. It was still way more than our final limit. He asked about meeting in the middle, we agreed. Next a Finance Manager came out and basically threw the paper on the table and told us, this was their final offer. We reminded him this was a CASH deal and daughter had her own tag. Also asked what happened to meeting in the middle. He said it didn't matter and this was their final offer. We did get up and walked out. Since this was for our daughter we went back to buy the vehicle because she really loved it and felt safe driving it. Our sales people Gabriel & Briza was absolutely wonderful, I left a good review for them. As for as the finance department, this is unbelievably horrible how they treat people who walk in with CASH. I would like to send people to Gabriel & Briza but sadly won't because of the Finance department.
