He made sure she was safe and in really good hands. The entire staff took such good care of her and even drove her home. We normally use another mechanic which we trust whole heartedly so I had the car towed to the other shop. Her motor had to be replaced and both shops gave us quotes but Christian Brother's was $1,000 less and had a rebuilt motor with lower mileage available. So we decided to use Christian Brother's for the repair. They were super quick and kept in touch with my husband and I to make sure we knew what was going on every step of the way!! (I'd like to add that the Sheriff stopped by the next day to check with them to see if she was ok!) We got the car back and all was good...and then it started to overheat so we took it back in and there was a defective seal - they replaced it of course under the 3,000 mile / 36 month warranty. Again, the drove her back and forth so she didn't have to find a ride. She even joked around with them asking if they'd mow her grass when he took her home the first time and when he brought her car to her once it had been repaired she teased that since he hadn't done the grass yet now he'd have to paint the house. Joking around like the we're old friends! Today I took my daughter to buy her first new (to her) car. Before we went shopping we stopped by to check in on the recent repair for my mother-n-law's car. Mind you we've only met briefly before - when I walked in they called me by name and immediately asked about my mother-n-law. We talked to them about our plans to buy a new vehicle and they gave us some recommendations and gave us some great advice. With my daughter having all of these new responsibilities I wanted her to know that if she ever needed a trustworthy mechanic close by - these were her guys! I am so happy that they take so much pride in their work and their customers!! It really does take a lot of stress off my plate knowing my 2 favorite girls are in good hands if they ever need it!! So a big huge thank you to everyone at Christian Brothers!!!

I ended up paying a supposedly discounted total of $348.20 at Mike Tates 99 Auto for an oil change,…read morea tire rotation, and a battery installation and registration using a battery I provided. This turned out to be an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. The shop charged $221.94 just for the battery service, which was particularly disappointing considering a local O'Reilly's had offered to do the installation for free if I purchased the battery from them. The service was also plagued by unnecessary delays and oversight. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for two unexpected Uber rides because the shop kept my vehicle overnight, claiming the mechanic lacked the "proprietary tool" required to remove the battery. In reality, the job only requires a standard 10mm socket for the terminals and a 13mm socket with an extension for the hold-down bolt. To make matters worse, despite paying for a tire rotation, the shop completely missed that two of the rotated tires were left low on pressure. I chose to support a neighborhood business, but this experience was a lesson well learned.

Outlining the knowledge and experience this shop processes. First and foremost the customer service I receive from Tony and the entire staff at Cinco Tire and Automotive each time I return is exemplary. My first experience with this shop started from word of mouth by an automotive technician who mentioned rates and services performed at Cinco Tire on many occasions to me at my job. Eventually I reached out to them for help and they were right there for me. I originally thought I had a stuck thermostat but they quickly discovered my problem. Not only was Tony able to work a fantastic price, but I could sense he really cared about my circumstances; going above and beyond with service and leading me the right way on repairing my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which unknown to me at the time had a blown head gasket due to a manufacture defect in the casting of my engine block which had broken away from one of the through bolts holding the driver-side portion of my head gasket. Through intensive diagnostics and experienced technicians they found the flaw in a very short time and rushed for my parts and Tony even planed a rental car for me and my daughters school function. They also had my vehicle towed to specialists on a flatbed truck that could correct the bolt issue by means of a coil insert to the faulty casting. After the completion of this in depth repair Tony recommended I file a claim with Chrysler I did have a current extended warranty and eventually had Jeep Chrysler reimburse me for all charges and fees But it doesn't stop there, this shop is a FULL service shop with skilled techs that perform everything I could ask for including regular maintenance like a synthetic oil change .I feel rest assured it's performed correctly and they beat anyone's price in Katy, TX and always honor coupons by Goodyear and their own as well. Cinco Tire and Automotive has made a believer out of me that not all garages are alike. And I will remain a loyal customer for life with Cinco Tire and Automotive.
