Jennifer is the most talented and amazing photographer that I have ever worked with. She is extremely friendly and professional. I first met her while she was photographing a wedding I was in. You barely noticed she was there and the pictures came out so beautifully. She has wonderful direction and vision while still keeping true to the visions of her brides. Things happened efficiently but never felt rushed. My friend received her proofs and pictures far quicker than we had expected. I highly recommend Jennifer to ANYONE looking to have gorgeous and unique photos that you will treasure for a lifetime. I loved her work so much that she now does all of my family photo sessions and I wouldn't dream of anyone else preserving the memories of my wedding if I get married. I'm sorry that the other reviewrs did not have a good experience, weddings are stressful and people tend to remember the bad parts more vividly than the good. Unfortunately I was hoping I would be able to say good things about this company but I cannot. After 2 months of waiting for my wedding photos. A day that I have been waiting for all my life I have a handful of photos from this company. My wedding was August 24, 2013 a few days later she posted about 4 photos. I figured it was my sneak peek. I waited until 9/24/2013 to ask were my photos were. She writes me back and says her computer is sick and will have them back to me asap and asks me to right her a review on wedding wire. Mind you I have only seen 4 photos of my entire wedding. Then 10/3/2013 I get a cryptic message that she is still working on my photos but needs to recover them??? So I responded do you have my photos or not? She calls me to tell me both her hard drive and files were corrupted???? meanwhile I still see other photos go up since this happened. She says she is giving her files and her computer to a recovery place and there is a 50% chance of recovery. A few weeks later I ask her about the photos and she says it is taking longer because she has memory cards she writes over. My question here is that if someone is paying you over a grand for their one and only day why wouldn't you use new cards on them? I message her today still thinking the glass is half full but it is not. She said the photos were not recovered. I have tried calling her a few times because I would like someone else to take a look at them but she has not answered. She emailed me back very unsympathetic and said she is going above and beyond her contract by giving me the cards so someone else can see if my photos can be recovered. Really? as a business owner shouldn't you go above and beyond when it is a special day they entrusted you with. Now I am sitting here crying my eyes out with a handful of photos. Not a good company if they can allow this to happen. Very unprofessional not to let me know right away what was really happening and losing photos this is unacceptable. I WILL NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE. Update 12/25/2013 The thing that the last reviewer does not under stand is that I have 10 photos from my complete wedding and only 5 of them are good. It isn't just one thing it was the whole service. I don't want anyone else to end up like me crying on a daily basis cause I went to an inexperienced person she was nice in the beginning but not when she lost my photos. I used Jennifer for my wedding in October 2013. I still haven't printed my pictures from her because they are nothing special. I loved the artistic look she presents online and In her portfolio but she didn't produce anything like that! I had to contact her 3 times to tell her I wanted more editing. I was looking at my pictures just now and I still get sick to my stomach with how a random person with no experience could have taken these pictures. Plus she showed up past the time she was supposed to be at my wedding and talked about how hungover she was. My wedding was in April 2013. I wasn't a big fan of having a huge wedding. I only cared about 1 thing: the photographs! I chose this company at a suggestion of a friend who was also getting married around the same time. I looked at the website and blog and thought the photos were amazing. They were magical and creative. I bought the Prince and I package which included 6 hours and a 50 page memory book at a cost of $1400. I thought this would give me hundreds of beautiful photos! My package had 196 photos. I was emailed a "shot list". The form had so many grammatical and type-set errors that i was questioning the professionalism at this point but chalked it up to the form being chopped up in the process of emailing and downloading. I gave descriptive information down to a timeline and names of people to look for. In the end, I have about 100 photos of my husbands family posing and milling around the reception area. There are NO good photos of us during the ceremony. It's like she didn't even try. I would have thought she'd work the crowded areas as I've experienced many photographers do at weddings I've attended in the past. There are about 7 photos of me and my bridesmaids. The most disappointing is that there are only 2 or 3 of me and my tiny family. On top of that, the photographer and her assistant both sat during the entire dinner, add another $150 to what I paid for her services. In the end, I have 1 photo I absolutely love and a handful that are nice. The rest were no better than any that friends and family took. I could get specific (an example being I wanted a photo of us holding hands with our rings and in the one she took my ring is twisted to the side so you can't even see it!) I don't think she took the time to really put the effort into my wedding as she did for the people highlighted on her blog. I'm very disappointed. In the end, I saw her again when I was a bridesmaid at my friends wedding. She offered to do a photo shoot with my Mother and I (there were No photos of just me and my mother) but I honestly don't want to waste another hour with her. Also, on a side note, her husband is a DJ, so he was the DJ at my friends wedding and had the nerve to tell the bride how he and the photographer were in the process of a divorce.
