We used Gordon over the Christmas holiday week for photos of our 6-month old daughter and our family. The sitting went fine. It's kind of hard to get our daughter to smile when there's a lot going on and we did get a few smile shots, so we were happy in that department. We met with Gordon one week later to look at the photos and choose which ones we wanted. We also asked about digital copies. It was not including in any of his standard packages but he said he would give us a copies of the photos we were also going to get printed. There were also a couple photos we wanted cropped a little. He said it would be two weeks. Two weeks came and went. I called and my mother called. On the fourth attempt, my mother basically threatened to show up on his doorstep. He called back with a time/date to pick up the photos, two weeks later than originally discussed. No apology. No explanation. We'd wanted digital copies. We've worked with a range of photographers in the past and we've always gotten digital copies. In most cases, we've happily paid extra for them. We get this is how photographers make their money. Gordon provided us very low-res copies of the photos and refused to provide us with better quality electronic copies. To make matters worse, when we got the photos (my mother picked them up and I saw them later), I realized he did not crop one of the photos like I'd asked. So we paid $25 for a 5x7 photo that's pretty much unusable. And of course, he won't answer or return our phone calls. What was supposed to be the first professional photo session with our daughter turned out to be a stressful and expensive experience. I will never use O'Brien photography and I suggest you don't as well.

I had gotten a new hairstyle, facial hair, new glasses, and I wanted all those things to shine on the new picture but wasn't sure it would work. I was regretting retaking my pictures but WOW I was amazed with how good Joe made me look. Joe even worked with me on posing (I suck at posing and thought it would look weird) and tried some shots with my glasses on per my request but the pics I got look awesome and natural and I feel good giving clients my cards now. 5 stars to Joe Alisa, he will be doing all of my pictures from now on.

The rest of the experience, not so much. Dustin showed up about 20 minutes late to our first meeting - granted, he seemed to have a valid excuse but he made no attempt to get in touch with us to let us know. After driving hours to meet with him, this was not a great first impression. Dustin's prices seemed high to me, but you only get married once, right? Well, that's the idea at least! Unfortunately, as many other reviewers have said, Dustin's business practices leave something to be desired. He ignored calls, ignored voicemails, was months late in getting our photographs and it got to the point that we had to retain legal representation to get him to finish the work that was contracted.

Dustin is a flake, don't waste your time.

Hiring Erin as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made!…read more We knew that we wanted more than just your standard posed portraits, so we were looking for someone that would take a more editorial approach at documenting our day. Erin totally nailed it! She captured the emotion and the details of our wedding perfectly. As my husband and I scroll through our library of images now, we actually feel as if we are reliving the entire day all over again. It's amazing! The day went by so quickly, but Erin's photos allow us to relive all of our favorite moments over and over again. Erin was quick to respond to our emails, willing to accommodate our requests and overall very easy to work with. On the day of our wedding, she captured so many special moments without us even realizing that she was shooting. Additionally, she worked well with the videographer we had hired separately and worked alongside him to make sure both people were able to capture the footage they needed. I highly recommend hiring Erin to photograph your wedding. You will not be disappointed!

She made us feel comfortable and laugh and the photos turned out amazing. Fast forward to our wedding day, and she was even more amazing! She captured every wonderful part of the day, wrangled our families into group pictures, and in general was just a delight to have with us on our wedding day. She kept everything on time and we couldn't be happier with everything. The photos of course turned out fantastic. She's so great at capturing the perfect light and flattering candids. We almost want to get married again just to have a reason to hire her again!

We had a horrible experience with Rawlinson Photography. They sent a $100 credit via email, but on…read morethe day of our wedding, he asked for the $100 back. He threatened me that if I didn't give him the $100 back (claiming it was an administrative mistake), he would leave our wedding. It was so stressful.... He was very rude, unwilling to go over any details, and not very organized. When we received our wedding photos via mail (flash drive), he sent the wrong event photos (NOT OUR WEDDING). He then insisted that I had to physically drop off the flash drive at his location and pick up ours. When we received our photos, the lighting was bad, and the photos were awkward, candid shots. He did not take the time to make sure we looked good in them, which was disappointing. Additionally, none of the photos were edited or polished. It was like he just showed up, started snapping photos like a child with no care or professionalism, and then just downloaded them to give them to us directly. We had to edit our own photos, because he said we would have to pay an additional $1000 to get any edits. Also, our package included a final print, which he did not honor, so I had to go elsewhere to get a professional print of a photo of my husband and me (after we edited ourselves). Just overall very disappointed, would never recommend, not even for my worst enemy. -Bryana & D
