Terrible Communication and Unfulfilled Order 1 star…read more I had a frustrating experience with Davillier Photography. I placed an order on July 23, 2024, and waited weeks without any updates. I tried calling multiple times to follow up, but no one responded. When I finally got through in August because they reached out me by phone after several emails, they explained the lack of communication was due to an issue with their automated email system. But, by then, I felt I had been defrauded -- there was zero communication, and no product or service had been rendered. Prior this call, I decided not to proceed with my order which was stated in writing to the company and disputed the charge with my bank. I explained this to them in detail when finally getting a call by their owner, yet somehow they still told my bank that the purchase was valid, even though I received nothing. This charge still remains on my account while the company is refuting having received compensation. As of today, October 28, 2024, I have not received a refund and while I do not want any - nor have I received products or services. Terrible experience all around. I would definitely not recommend doing business with this company.

They even used Google Maps to virtually walk us through the French Quarter and talk through locations and timing. That level of preparation made us feel completely at ease. Our original plan was to elope, but as anyone who tries to elope in New Orleans learns, that rarely stays small. What unfolded was a joyful, intimate gathering we lovingly called our "not a wedding." Three days prior to the wedding she had someone else text me that she couldn't make it due to a hip surgery, even though I talked to her a week prior and she acted like she would be there.
