Romaguera Photography was given the honor of taking the Santa Claus Photos at Celebration in the…read moreOaks this year. We LOVE to get a fun snapshot with Santa and were happy to fork over the cash to get our photo. After taking our turn on Santa's lap, we were asked to come back "in 15 minutes" to get our print, so we headed out to enjoy ourselves in the Oaks. As the night was coming to a close we headed back to the Santa Photo station to pick up our pre-paid photos with Santa, only to find that the photographers and all of the 'helpers' had left for the evening, even though the event was still open for 15 more minutes. We found a member of security to ask "Do you know where we can find our photos?" (hoping that they would be left for us at the front gate, or something equally as convenient.) Security informed us that they must have left early and that we should call 'this number' to find out where to get our pictures. The next day we got a call saying that we could pick our photo up at the Studio on Metairie Rd. Wait, huh?? We have to go miles away (and deal with the backed up Metairie Rd. traffic the week before Christmas) to get our photo. Why didn't you call us that night and say "We are leaving early, come get your pictures NOW?" I am disappointed by the inconvenience we suffered and the lack of customer consideration that Romaguera Photography offered to us in this instance and I would be hesitant to recommend them. (I did like my Santa photo though.)

Extreme rude for customer service. Not only Putting customer on hold at a busy morning for more…read morethan 10 minutes when asking about when can I expect the package will arrive, the woman on the phone, told they didn't even put in the order! What do you mean after more than a week, a simple school picture didn't even put in the order, especially I already paid for it? Yes, I'm not in a hurry, but at least you could say it politely, and make the "excuses" more acceptable. I don't recommended for this place at all, if wasn't school hired then for photo shoot, in million years I wouldn't hire them personally!

Photos might have been the only "traditional" thing we did, but they were important to me and I am so very glad we found Kathleen! We got married on what must have been the hottest day of the year here in New Orleans and somehow Kathleen managed to make it look like no one was melting! We all met up in Jackson Square and she got our photographs with landmarks as well as street performers, all while letting us dodge in and out of various bars and businesses to take cool-down breaks. She was an absolute joy to work with, the pictures are absolutely stunning and I couldn't be happier with them! She charges a fraction of the average rate, has such cute and unique posing ideas and even better, instead of paying a fortune for prints, she sent us 2 CDs of the (retouched) images and we can print them at will! Both my husband and I have experience modeling and are no stranger to the camera, so when we say that Kathleen is great to work with, it holds water! I'm not sure what the next thing I'll need a photographer for, but whatever it happens to be, I'm calling Kathleen!
