From start to finish, we were so pleased with her services. We opted to take advantage of Daniela's complimentary engagement session. We met out by Beavertail Lighthouse (apparently one of her favorite spots around town). This was really the first time that my husband and I had taken pictures of this nature so, of course, we were just a little anxious going into it all. Daniela made everything SO easy, fun, and relaxed. The very next day she sent over a few sneak peak pics from the engagement session. The photos were STUNNING. It made me even more excited to have her as my photographer! On the day of the wedding Daniela showed up and we just had a brief conversation about any of the pictures I specifically wanted. I also gave her a list of my "need to have" pics. She made sure that all of these were taken. Further, we did all of our family/wedding party pics BEFORE the ceremony, which was probably the greatest idea ever. I would also like to note that it can sometimes be difficult herding a large group of people and also fitting them into one picture with a cohesive look. We chose to shoot in the South End to capture the beautiful brownstones and fall foliage, and the photos turned out even better than I imagined. Our situation was a bit tricky because we were working around a sleepy 6-month-old. Daniela kindly adjusted her schedule at the last minute so our baby could take a full nap beforehand, something any parent will appreciate! During the shoot, she gave us so much direction on how to stand, pose, and find the best lighting, which made the entire experience effortless and enjoyable. From start to finish, Wassim did a great job with the photo shoot for my husband's family (his…read moreparents, brothers and their significant others -- totalling 8 adults for the shoot). During the planning Wassim was incredibly accommodating as we juggled everyone's schedules and found a time and place that worked for the whole group. A few days before the shoot I received an email from Wassim with some things to think about (like what to wear) and an update on the weather (and the potential for snow). It definitely helped us prepare and coordinate. The morning of the shoot, Wassim called to once again confirm that we were on and to tell me that there was a chance for snow, but if we were still game, he was too. During the shoot, we all had a great time -- over the course of our 90 minutes together Wassim took about 120 photos (in a variety of settings and with different combinations of people). He did an absolutely WONDERFUL job is capturing these family moments (and achieving my mother-in-law's dream of having an official family portrait with her entire family). Since the photo shoot, Wassim did as promised, sending us a "teaser" with a few pictures within a few days of the shoot, and then a link to the rest of the pictures within 5-7 days. He's followed up once again to see if we had any questions, comments or adjustments that we wanted to make (we didn't -- the pictures came out so well). I've already ordered several pictures and my mother-in-law is on her way to a massive family collage. Without hesitation I would (and already have) recommended Wassim as a photographer. His great demeanor helps calm any nerves and his pictures will definitely be treasured among my family (and I'm sure many others too).
