Installed new 18" ceramic tile floors in the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. In the bedrooms and family room we went with an upgraded pile carpet . Helped me with the decisions on the colors and brought many samples that helped with the design. Installed 5 new windows a sliding glass door and a new front door. Installed a new granite countertop in the kitchen with stainless steel sink, faucet, disposal and plumbing. To match the rest of the condo they upgraded the kitchen with LED Caned recessed lights on the ceiling and sprayed on new knock down texture. Dialed in the bathroom installing a high quality cabinet, sink, faucet and plumbing . Painted the inside of the whole condo with a great looking base color and a nice contrast color for the trim and baseboard . No Drama and no surprises with Tim and Alexis. Tim made sure that he wouldn't start painting the exterior of our house until the unusually rainy Santa Rosa weather cleared up. We had to postpone a couple weeks before the conditions were just right. This gave us time to think about the colors we wanted. We picked two colors for the body/trim but we were stuck on deciding a color for our gutters! Tim took the time to get some samples, give his input, and help us make a final decision. He and his team started work on Monday morning and were done by Friday afternoon. Mon - Pressure washed. Tues - Primed, chalk, remove rotten wood. Weds - Paint front door/side door/garage, replace rotten wood. Thurs - Body color! Paint trim. Friday - Paint gutters, touch up, and clean up. My husband and I were very appreciative of Tim's prompt emails and keeping us in the loop during the whole process. He and his team were nice and professional. I met with Fermo's representative in Napa so Fermo could view our project and provide a quote for…read morewidening our RV slab. Since our RV is heavy (a large diesel pusher) we agreed to use 6" slab on 3" of compacted rock for our 4' x 30' pad widening project. We discussed everything including re-bar reinforcement and dirt disposal. The quote was competitive and the exchange amicable so after consideration I called back a few minutes later and we agreed on a day to start. Later the day of site visit I received an email from our contact indicating he had quoted incorrectly figuring for 4" thick slab on 2" compacted road base and switched to a different, MUCH HIGHER price for the 6" slab (and now changed 2" compacted base)....$1350 HIGHER than original quote (40% higher). When I emailed back 2x to ask our contact to honor his bid or comment further but we received no response. Quick communication up until the changed price didn't go over too well. While I can't comment on the quality of work I would say it's not professional to quote a price then withdraw it entirely. I get it. People make mistakes, and I can see coming to some sort of solution, but to just change the price higher after agreeing on a lower price and agreeing to a start date...then to go silent...when I didn't just take it large, not so cool.
