She found us a hotel room for the evening, worked with the rental company to find a solution and even checked on us even after the solution had been reached. Breaking down while driving across country from California to Maryland was a nightmare! But I am so glad I broke down where I did and was sent McGuire's Towing by my rental company. It was by far the smartest thing my rental company did during the entire break down! I can't say enough wonderful things about McGuire's towing!! I have always had a positive experience with this mechanic. His prices are extremely reasonable,…read morebut more importantly, he is an honest man. I had a faulty battery that was less than a year old, and my car was showing multiple problems on the dash. Each time I would take it and have a diagnostic ran, it came up as a new issue. I took my vehicle to this shop fully expecting to spend quite a lot fixing multiple issues; however, they identified that my battery was the culprit. I did have one sensor that was malfunctioning. I was charged a small amount for labor and the price of the part. Since my battery was under warranty, I had it replaced for free. This shop could have easily told me that I needed to spend, at least, $1,000 to repair my car. I would have expected it. I even told them I fully expected a major issue and showed them the diagnostic tests. This shop did the reputable thing and charged an extremely fair price instead of gouging a customer. Unfortunately, that is a rare find in a mechanic.

He did a very good job of diagnosing the problem, disassembling the broken parts. Since it was late on a Friday afternoon, was unable to get the parts that night. Told me he would get them as soon as the part store open next morning. He did and got to me very quickly. He inspected the rest of my vehicle after fixing the original problem. Discovered another problem and fix it also. He did a very thorough job, on a very hot day, when most would have wanted to get out of the heat. Would highly recommend this company for anyone needing repairs in this area.
