Staff are hard working and professional. They kept the drinks flowing. Plus the 5 seconds of fireworks at the end. Hence, the 2 stars. Theyre the saving grace of this sh*t show tbh! Its already 842pm and we just had dinner. Came here with my partner, 7 yr old and 16 yr old kids, and my yelp elite bff and her husband, we all were bored & uncomfortable. No real show. Wasnt even expecting a broadway production to begin with. This was all about selling, besides the 290 cdn I paid online for the steak dinner option x 3. Had to pay 70 usd upon checking in. Food was horrible. Fast fry piece of seasoned meat and overcooked veggies. Shouldve read the reviews here in Yelp. Will never believe the paid reviews of google. I'm usually a positive and patient person but this was a COMPLETE WASTE of time and money. Everybody in my group got hangry & couldn't wait for this to end. If we were docked, we would've walked out. Honestly, I think going to a time share presentation will be less painful... This is definitely NOT for kids -unless yours love to dance to club music and go to raves. 5 hours of our lives we will never get back. Neverrr again.

Let's be real: it's the Medieval Times of Cancun, but here you are in the middle of the action and the only horses are what they say is steak. No, actually, the food was good. I've done the cruise twice, happy to have once splurged on the lobster choice. It is so buttery and tender that your throat hurts less when throwing up later. From the drinking, of course. For the most part, except for the pirate ship interaction, the "entertainment" is a bunch of puns, insults, and lame drinking games more suitable for a hotel pool party, like "hey! who can collect the most shoes?!". So, don't expect something awesome like a fire dancer or a juggler or that guy who ties four black dummies to his arms and legs and pretends to be the Jacksons or anything. I recommend it. Even though, unfortunately, most of the athletic effort from the pirates is spent less on choreographed fights and more of lifting and waving tip boxes.

A H O Y M A T E Y S ....... What an entertaining evening! I arrived at the pier early as my ticket stated, and am I glad I did. I got to talk to " Capitan Hook" , and see his incredible costume/makeup up close. Very professional, as were all the costumes on all the crew. ( Am I in Vegas?) Moving on to the ongoing show, it was hysterical. There was a lot of audience participation, and even moi was selected to be part of the festivities. Good memories. There was dancing, and loud music, and the crew worked together like a well oiled machine. I'm glad I posed for the professional photo upon boarding, and yes I spent $20 on the framed 8 by 10. It is in my office and all find it appropriately cheesy. So there. Moving on to the food, it was superb. After 40 + years in the hospitality business, I can tell you that it is not easy providing a meal off site for that many people. However, we were served a tasty meal, including grilled lobster for me, and it was accentuated by the fact that we caught the aroma of grilling steak and lobster before we went through the buffet line. All of the crew were both actors and servers. Our guy brought us drinks in a timly manner, and more rounds without prompting. I left pleasantly full, and slightly tingly. Sure, the lobster tail was on the smaller side, but the tenderness and the grilled flavor was incredible. NO REGRETS ! Kudos to the chefs for grilling for that huge crowd and nailing it. Moving on to the anticipated finale - a mock fight with sister ship The Jolly Roger. So our crew were not only showman & servers, but sword wielding athletes jumping from ropes and from ship to ship. Our job was to cheer at the top of our lungs for our guys, as that would determine which ship won the fight. These fellas had huge swords that produced SPARKS when struck. It was like being on a set where they were filming a scene from the viking era or Spartacus. Quite thrilling really. Then as we pulled into port, our very own personal FIREWORKS! Just like Disneyland.. The only thing I didn't care for were the small children, and I mean small, small kids. I don't think strollers have a place on this kind of dinner cruise. Maybe not for kids under 12. Why not get a babysitter for the night and go out alone and have a relaxing evening out, like a date?????? Not very happy!!! The staff is very friendly and professional. The food was good. Better than some of the stuff they feed us at the all inclusive hotels. The show was not very entertaining. We where mad because we never left the dock because of rain. But the ship next to us the Jolly Roger did go out to sea. I couldn't wait to get off!!! Would not recommend it. You are packed into the ship! There is zero social distancing. Dinner was served down stairs in an enclosed room with no windows. Yes there was many people not wearing masks and sneezing and coughing!!! Staff do there best but some people just don't listen.

Okay overall. Pros: crew worked hard to keep us engaged. They took temps at the entry. Hand sanitizer was given out. Signs to wear masks posted. Waiters did good getting our orders out. The food was good given the cooked for 80 people on a ship. Cons: we were packed in. No social distancing. Mask rule was not enforced. Jokes were for adults and kids didnt get them. Games were drinking games you would find at the hotel pool. Tip: Spring for the VIP section as you get you own area.
Oh such a horrible horrible experience, we went on this ship thinking we would enjoy and it was such a drag, first of all it wasn't a pirate show it was more of Iike a rave party and they were even talking in Spanish so we couldn't understand a thing they said. The waiters were really nice but it was just pure nonsense. The food was horrible and there was barely any place to sit down. They served dinner at last 8:30pm we were so hungry and we were also with kids who were so hungry. Save your money and do not go here, it's a waste of money and time! I think a time share video would be better to sit and watch. read more

The line to pay the dock fee was completely out of order, management needs some attention to this. The show, the staff, the food, the length of time, the fun and dancing was excellent! Six family members from 24 to 54 all had a great time and would do it again! We recommend for family or couples. read more
It works if you have kids only or are going for the open bar. Out of it you'll be bored out of your mind. We got here at 6 and the boat left at 7. We basically waited until everyone took pictures with the pirates (that took an hour or so). Dinner was good it was a lot of good buffet style. Pretty good food and drinks. Basically the crowd paying for the show are the entertainment.... I'm writing the review as I watch the show (that's how bored I was). The show ends at 10 so my bf and I are stuck here until 10. Overall if you have kids you'll enjoy it. We're just 2 adults so if you're in a crowd of adults only we wouldn't recommend it. For kids and family yes. It's really cute before getting on the boat. There are many places for pictures. read more

It started out slow, but it got much better as the show progressed. I need to learn more Spanish so I can better understand, even though they repeat in English, I had a little difficulty understanding. There is a lot of upselling there. We paid for the show at the hotel and then find out we still have pay the surcharge at the location, it would've been, if they would've told us. We were told it was all paid and we just have to show the paid ticket to enter. Anyhoo, the pirate ship was fun and everyone was really good at what they do. The food was GREAT. We purchased the VIP service, it was amazing. I recommend going here while in Cancun. read more
I've seen the boats for such a long time and our kids are 7 and 9 now, so I thought we could give it a shot. In the long run, it really wasn't our thing for multiple reasons. I knew when we booked it, but so the extra fees they add on are ridiculous. I thought the fees for the port were maybe charged by a separate entity, but that was not the case. It's just a charge for those going on the pirate ship, so why not just charge it in advance and not hold up the line Making people pay extra. Once you pay the fee, you get into another line. They try to get you to buy a $70 bottle of liquor to get VIP status. They take your photo that they will try to sell you later and then they put you on one of three boats. We were one of the last ones on the boat and were placed on stools in the middle. Bartenders are going around taking drink orders. It takes about an hour for us to finally get a drink but once we get our first, getting another is much easier. They should really consider having pre poured drinks for people to grab to make those first drinks go faster. The performance is cheesy but kind of funny. The hardest part is how much Spanish they speak. They occasionally translate it into English. They should consider making one ship English and one Spanish. During the performance, they slowly start sending people for dinner. Half of the people are sitting with tables in front of them but half are on stools and will need to eat elsewhere. They start with the VIPs, then the people with tables and then go to the stools. It was taking a long time and my kids were hungry and complaining. Since they don't have enough seats for all the people on stools, they should have started with those people since they go in shifts. Needless to say, efficiency is not their thing. You go through a line where they give you options of mashed potatoes, fruit, salad, pasta salad, steamed veggies, rice, corn, chicken nuggets and pizza. They then give you your protein. I didn't know I could ask or I would have asked for my steak medium rare because mine was quite well done. My husband asked and his was much less done. The food was okay. The fruit, veggies, rice and corn were the best side options. My kids liked the steak. The waiter was great and remembered our drink orders as he came back around. After dinner, they were dancing and playing music. It was a bit too loud for my kids. We hung out on one of the upper decks. Around 9pm (we left at 6pm), they connect all 3 boats and do a fighting performance. The sword hitting created sparks which looked pretty cool. They break the boats apart and have fireworks very briefly. Our waiter had already come by and asked for a tip, which we did of course because he was great. The head pirate came by with another performer and asked for more money. This thing is getting more and more expensive...I feel like I'm in a tourist trap cause they won't move on until you give them money. I give them some money and they move on. I'm thinking we are moving back to shore finally but no... we are still out there. We finally get going back in and don't get back into almost 10pm. 4 hours!!! Ugh. We definitely won't do this again! read more
If you come for the food, you are coming for the wrong reason. It was average at best but wasn't horrible. We went with the VIP experience. Basically buy a bottle of rum for 3x the actual cost but sit upstairs away from the crown and dance floor. We had an excellent time. Being people watchers and not into being part of the craziness but watching it, VIP Is the way to go. Entertainment was great. Takes a short time to get going but really fun once it does! Don't take kids. It's a drinking, dance party with strobe lights. They would probably like the scene but......yeah, no. Overall, fun experience. Book through your resort for transportation and experience. read more

Rude staff got turned away without a refund when they 1,st cancelled on family. Staff said I was intoxicated when I have a speech impairment and cannot speak Spanish correctly. My husband explained it to them but they still refused to let me board with my family and we all got turned away. I called to speak with management to only get the staff worker to refused to provide me their name and tell me that i needed to send an email. Totally Medieval Times on a ship turned Dance party. We are not really into "clubs" so the end was a little rough. It was super fun and the characters/servers were great! Food was not that good but hey it is what it is. Overall had a good time being 2 adults but I was glad when we go off. read more

We decided to book this on our last evening in Cancun, having seen the pirate ship in the distance from our hotel balcony on several evenings. Our TUI rep at the hotel had recommended this activity as "fun for all the family". If you are looking for a 4 hour party boat, slightly aimless but fun and noisy antics, with several servings of alcohol included, then this is definitely your bag. There was a lot of audience participation with the songs and dances from very earnest and fun actors/ crew, along with attentive waiters, a treasure hunt for kids, and an actual sword fight against enemy pirates. For us, and other families accompanied by children aged 7 and under, it was a crowded, chaotic, very loud, strobe lights extravaganza. We retreated to another part of the ship behind the loudspeakers when the noise levels from the speakers became dangerous for young ears, and the excessive strobe lighting made me shield my child's eyes! I'd definitely recommend ear defenders for the children. Also, take along extra cash for the framed photo and the tips box (not optional!). The food was decent, but having read previous reviews about long waits, I confess that we kind of jumped the queue and joined a large group when they were called up. I'm glad we did, because our area was actually called up much later. Overall, it was a unique experience. A solid hour longer than it needed to be, especially when you have tired children in tow. But the chaotic enemy ship sword fights were great swashbuckling fun! read more

The drinks were ok, the food was ok, this is a dance party that takes you out in the ocean and does not let you out till 10 pm. The service was friendly, the show was fun at times, it is a lot like Medieval Times but in the ocean. It was loud and crowded. If that is your scene you will be happy, but if you have kids, it is not a kid friendly event at all. read more

This is an experience. First, it is unclear or the start. My hotel lobby rep said 6 and told me to get there at 5. The website says 6:30 and to be there by 5:45. Due to traffic, we got there at 6:30 and still sailed. We left about 7. If you get there later you end up on a stool on the middle of ship. Service and food were decent. The staff are lively and encourage a party. It's a bit chaotic and definitely crowded. Lots of extra cost. You pay the base price and then another $15 a person in dock fees. They will have a framed photo to sell you. Then your server will literally request a tip. Finally a box will come around for tips. We did have fun but it lasted longer than it needed to. We weren't back to shore until 10PM. My kids are 5 and 7. It was a bit much for them. I would not take younger children. My advice, if you go, dress comfy and just embrace the weirdness. read more

This is the worst experienced ever!! Seriously, this is NOT a buffet. Basicly, you paid for one meal and the food is nothing special. You get to choose with chicken, steak or lobster. So much fun! I did know what to expect when we bought it but so glad I did. The best thing I did in Mexico. Had a great time!
We have tons of fun that night!! In the beginning I had my doubts because the dialog and the mood just didn't seemed right. But captain hook managed to engage every one on board. He played tons of games with different dynamics nobody ever seemed that got bored . They Managed to take everyone for dinner divided in groups to another section of the boat. While you see groups coming and going to have dinner captain hook on this stuff keeps on the jokes until it's your time to go and have dinner. The rest of the crew of the boat was awesome very engaged really into their character. read more

My girlfriend and I booked this, thinking it would be a dinner show. My girlfriend was excited "to be a pirate". Nobody got to be a pirate. Not even the pirates. When we booked the show, we weren't told there would be any extra charges. We get there and see a sign saying there's a surcharge of $14/person to cover "insurance, travel costs, etc.". Uhh... that should be covered by the $70 I paid for this stupid thing, but whatever. I get up to the booth and they tell me it's $28/person, $14 for insurance and $14 for the extra costs. What the hell did my $70 pay for you may ask? "The food". I'll get to that monstrosity later. To start, they force you to do this stupid photo op with a little person, where the entire gimmick is "HE'S TINY! ISN'T THAT F**KING FUNNY?!". Uhh, no, that kind of stopped being funny back in the 80s. They didn't even wait for us to look at the camera when they took the picture! Then, they seemed surprised we didn't want the picture of us looking off in the distance. By the way, they show you the picture in this frame, and when someone does agree to buy it, THEY TAKE THE BLOODY PICTURE OUT OF THE FRAME AND TELL YOU ITS EXTRA! After that was the seating. We had to sit on these tiny stools, wedged between other people, with little to no room to move. Then the "show" (for lack of a better word) started. It's a bunch of idiots telling stupid jokes stolen from children's shows back in the 80s. There was a brief moment where ONE "pirate" swung around a couple of times. He was the only one that showed any sort of athleticism. This was followed by us having to yell what country we're from, repeatedly. He would respond to every yell with some stupid joke about your homeland. Then make you yell the country again. Then it was followed by grabbing three people from the crowd and making them do some stupid drinking game (with more jokes about the countries they're from). Finally a break for dinner! Sweet, merciful food! The chicken was about 90% leather. Not seasoned terrible, but still leather nonetheless. The sides weren't bad, but that was not a $70 piece of chicken. We were hoping that the crap beforehand was just to kill time to put food in people, and the real show would start later. We were so so wrong. After dinner, we get back to the "show", and the "pirates" played some more obnoxious music, made some more stupid jokes, then the other ship showed up. Yay! Fight time! We finally get the pirates swinging ship to ship we were promised! Well.... they leisurely strolled across a small gap to get onto the other boat, and fought in slow motion until one pretended to get stabbed. He did a terrible job at pretending to be dead, too. Like, he couldn't even lay still without screwing it up. This was followed by an "epic" battle between two captains. I'm told our ship won, but I really couldn't tell from the "fight". The one bit of acrobatics was displayed when the previously athletic guy fell from a rope into a net. Neat. I guess. We finally got to see the fireworks we were promised. It was supposed to be the great show, as a victory party. There were three fireworks. We missed the first one, because the captain was too busy talking, and we missed the third one because there was a huge gap between explosions, and we thought it was done, so we turned our backs. When I was a child, my friend's dad was having a fire in his firepit. He started the fire with some gasoline. That redneck put on a better fireworks show than these people. What followed was the captain and waiters begging for tips "we work only for your tips". Really? Because I just paid $130 to see this travesty, I'd hope you at least got something out of it. They literally wave a tip box in front of everybody to shame you into tipping, then have the box as you get off the boat. The ride back to dock was filled with terrible wedding DJ-esque music, censored so the five kids on board wouldn't hear bad words. If you're without children, go to Coco Bongo instead. If you have kids, watch a guy named Coco play the bongos. You'll have a better time. read more

Just OK now We have been on the Captain Hook Dinner show many times before, the last time was two years ago. Many things have changed in the two years. First seating, they have over booked the boat and some people have to set on stools and it is hard to see the show and they are very uncomfortable to set for any period of time. Second The show does not flow like before and a lot of down time now. The food is still very good but the service has gone down due to more guests on board. Our server brought us two drinks for the night and the rest we had to go to the bar, not that he wasn't working hard he just had too many people to serve. They have added another ship so there are now three ships. OK if you have never been before it is a good show and good food, but if you been before it is not the same, we will not be back. The show is good for kids, there is a lot of music and dancing with fire works at the end. read more

Please be advised that i would rank this business with zero stars if i could. First off this show is not for adults, so if you don't have kids, you're gonna wish you never fell for the sales pitch. Secondly they have a poor enclosure design so any rain will likely fall on you and ruin your night and your drinks. The third was the biggest slap in the face yet! While we didn't leave port due to rain and dangerous wind conditions, people in the audience, including my girlfriend, became ill from the light motion and asked nicely to disembark from the vessel. This request became more and more direct everytime the ship rep returned with a different excuse as to why they could not let us leave. This continued on for over 25 minutes and resulted in me asking if we were being detained or held, which is very illegal and went further as to communicate the legal consequences of further illegal detainment. Shortly after they gathered their employees to load the ramp for us to disembark. One of the supervisors there insisted I sign a formal agreement that our request to be removed from the structure due to a medical issues ignited by the loud speakers, disorienting strobe light system and unflattering motion was not in fact a cancellation or based on their performance in any way. I said no because I am not legally required to. They also asked me for my name which I declined to provide. This business reponded very poorly to our emergency situation and held us hostage with the only concern being their reputation and not the safety of their customers. I would have let this go until they refused to let us go under the condition of filling out and signing away my right to report them. Bad business beware........ read more

This "show" is for families with children, so couples beware! Poor acting, not very funny, and although they speak in both English and Spanish, they spoke so fast I couldn't understand what they were saying. They had people sitting on these tiny stools, including women with small babies when there were open tables behind them! Also, we weren't told there were going to be strobe lights and insanely loud music! I get migraines very easily and I was miserable. Since it was windy and rainy and we hadn't left the dock, we asked them to get off and they basically held us hostage for another 30-45 minutes arguing about letting us off. They were worried about their reputation and about other people wanting to get off behind us! Then when they finally let us off the ship, they tried to make us sign a legal document saying it wasn't their fault! We didn't sign and got right off. Not worth the money! read more

No STARS!!! Definitely would not recommend. We went Friday, March 18, 2022, apparently there was an added feature to the ending according to the workers. As we were exiting the ship, the other Pirate ship crashed into the one we were on. The other ship quickly backed out as debris shattered on us. Not one worker asked if we were ok they just wanted us to exit. When I questioned them I was told that was part of the show- that's a down right lie, how inconsiderate and disrespectful to treat your guests. In addition they served tap water & 4 of us got sick as we returned the next day to the US. I emailed the company and no response. Never again, horrible experience!!!!!! read more

What a waste of time. I was held hostage on a boat for too many hours, I fell asleep twice. Then I looked across the boat and saw I wasn't the only person sleep. They crammed at least 200 people on the boat and most of us were sitting on stools. Can you imagine side by side, elbow to elbow on a stool for hours. Did I pay to be punished? Then I had to deal with them playing ring around the rose's, to entertain about 10 kids. This type of entertainment lasted over an hour, Really. Now about dinner, it was so many people some didn't eat until about an hour after the first people ate. And the waiters, omg I ordered a Malibu with pineapple. Of course they didn't have pineapple, but that wasn't so bad because after second drink they didn't have Malibu. And it took so long for the waiter to finally get to you, to give you the drink or the bad news they don't have what you want. Dinner was at least decent though, not enough to say I had a good time. This could be because I was one of the first to eat. Thank God I wasn't on the other side of the boat. Oh I almost forgot about the show. They talked for hours but after dinner they did a horrible attempt at a pirate show. If I was ten I think I would have liked it, maybe. Now on to the tips. They stopped the boat and walked around with the box, shaming you into putting money in. We were so close to the dock, I felt like screaming give them the money so we can get off. Please Again don't waste your time!!!!!! read more

Absolutely awesome A+++, tons of fun excellent service by everyone, we paid for the bottle upgrade(captain Morgan's rum) 20 bucks for all 5 in our group (that's total not each) so we were seated in the upper section on front overlooking the stage. awesome views from up there. our personal waiter was Charlie and he was top notch great!! we never waited for drinks he was super fast on the ball, dinner was very good as well and we were seated very quickly and not crowded below deck while we ate. all of the pirate crew were super nice and the show was funny and entertaining. this is our 2nd time on the captain's hooks dinner cruise (over 10 years apart) but it was better than we remember and we had a blast the first time too. I definitely recommend this cruise and the upgrade, read more

Terrible! Do not do this! We were shuffled around like cattle. The entertainment was kind of funny. Seating was awful. Tiny uncomfortable stools all crammed in rows. When we returned from dinner we tried to sit in a more comfortable location and were told we had to go back to our original stools. Dinner was a huge disappointment. After crappy games and waiting almost 2 hours to eat we were finally told it was our turn. If you did not pay the additional $40/person to upgrade to VIP they treated you like crap. My husband and I got the steak option which was just ok. On par for what we paid but the kids got the chicken option and we were all very disappointed. Old, barely warm very hard chicken nuggets. Yuck. We felt so bad for the kids we each split our steak and shared with them. A little after we returned from dinner they took up the stools and made you stand so they could turn the center floor into a dance floor. Then large tip boxes were passed around and shoved in your face by the pirates and they were very pushy and rude to a few that did not want to tip. The only good thing was the service. Wait staff was always ready to grab you a crappy diluted drink. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. The staffs mentality was get them seated, tell a few jokes, feed them, dance, ask for tips, get them off and ask for more tips. 2 thumbs down or major dud. read more

Great for kids (& adults)! It was a great experience for my family. Enjoyed the games, dinner and pirate sword fight. The waiters were VERY attentive and provided exceptional service. Food was just ok but was what one would expect on a boat buffet. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for something fun to do with your family in Cancun. Inexpensive too! read more

they are very pushy, we was waiting for our tickets because they just want 1 person per family to go up, not a problem, a lady said please move through the doors, i was like ok. then some man dressed as a pirate comes along and tries to send us way down, i said no im not going any further. they need to be in sync and not tell us one thing and then another. i did not enjoy this as much as i hoped. We sat at the bottom where everything was going on. It was a small grey stool. My back was killing me for over a hour, finally we got to go up to where they were cooking and eat, steak was overcook. but it was good, loved the dessert. drinks and staff were all attentive. get there early if you want leg room, back support, if not youll be on those stools like sardines. finally we got to eat, theat was nice, we enjoyed that. everything was good until about 45 minutes they started those flashing lights, our son started feeling sick so we went in the back, if you suffer from headaches, migraines or seizures, or have sensitive to lights??this is not for you. i was so glad to be off that thing, to much noise, people and lights at the end. it was not for me. read more

I don't even know where to start with this review. This show was such a disappointment! Please don't waste your money or time!! Worst entertainment ever, the jokes were corny and the dancing even worse. It's literally just a bunch of half drunk guys being loud. The ship was way overcrowded and the seats were super uncomfortable. Not to mention you're stuck on this boat for 3 horrible hours! The food was bland and not a nice dinner at all. The only decent place on the boat is the covered dinning area because it has A/C but they kick you out as soon as soon as your done eating. Please please please don't waste your money!!! We literally contemplated jump off the boat and swimming back to the hotel since we were so close. Definitely the worst dinner cruise ever!!!!! read more

I expected better things from the Captain Hook experience. First of all, they crammed about 200 people on a boat, and I mean like sardines in a can. We sat on this bench and it was the most uncomfortable experience of my life and the waiters were sometimes rude when we asked for more drinks. Then there is the food, oh my god. It was a disaster, but they kept us waiting that long I was starving and had to eat it. It's not steak, not like the steak I usually have back home in the UK. As soon as my girlfriend arrived back at the hotel she threw up all over our bathroom, I'm not even joking. The meat was raw, potatoes dry, just disgusting. I thought it was a pirate show, but it wasn't a show it was just stupid men shouting down a microphone. 'Captain Jack' said to me I was the 'most serious person on board' twice. I said to him I came to see a show not to watch pirates get hammered drunk. The music was absolutely shocking, I felt like I was at a wedding with a terrible DJ (YMCA, Come on Eileen etc.) Shouting down the microphone, it was horrible. The fireworks were good and there was a sword fight which was good also, but overall I was disappointed. read more

I was very disappointed during our last visit. This show was one our family favorite shows in Cancun and made it a ritual to go every time we visited Cancun. Since the first time I went 10 years ago, the entire family has enjoyed it from the youngest to the oldest. Even last year, we managed to enjoy it even though we didn't like the idea of purchasing a bottle in order to get a better spot when the show is all inclusive. My family and I went to the show last week (party of 19) and had to buy 3 bottles of the most expensive tequila in order to get the "VIP" area that had supposedly a better view to the show. To our surprise, they placed a family in front of us blocking our view. The food was mediocre, I am thinking this is due to the 2x1 special. The show lacked enthusiasm, professionalism and organizational/acting skills. To conclude the night, our server was discontent with our 22% tip and asked for an additional 5% making us feel very uncomfortable. As we walked out we noticed that the family sitting in front of us left their bottle behind, we grab it and rushed to catch up and give it back. Our server rushed behind us and begged the family to gift him the bottle. This whole situation was just embarrassing and disappointing. I hope this comment can help reinforce the quality of the show. It is sad that such a great show can leave such an ugly impression on people that come from all over the world to have a good time and enjoy this beautiful place. read more
