Not only did they bring my dinghy back to life, but their price and the time it took them to make the repairs was incredible!! The staff there are incredibly knowledgable, friendly and professional.... And talk about hunks!!! The physical beauty that the men at southwicks Marina possess is breath taking!! I've never seen a business comprised entirely of men that could just as easily be seen in a Calvin Klein advertisement as they could in a boatyard!! Thanks to this family owned enterprise that has been in operation for the better part of a century and 3 generations, I can continue to enjoy Barnegat bay and all of its nautical wonders with my family and friends when they come to lbi for their vacations. They were easy to deal with during the sales and delivery process, but they really shined post-sale. Like any complex machine, there were a few issues. The issues were relatively minor (the boat is amazing), but the staff at Statewide is top notch. You can speak with an experienced person who will actually be the person working on your boat. I am a persistent, analytical guy, so that's very important to me. They explain what they intend to do very carefully, and deliver what they promise and more. I very highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a boat, or for service on an existing boat.

They installed the motor with all the controls, a Garmin Chart Plotter, my center board and painted the bottom. Before the installation I had water in my bulges every time I used the boat. Not a lot but enough that I had to clean it out each time. After the installation I noticed that the bulges are bone dry! This was an added bonus to the expert installation. Where ever the water was coming in they found it and eliminated it in the installation. I highly recommend Tuckerton Marine. Their prices are very good and the workmanship is outstanding. I tried to replace my water pump on my 1998 Johnson 35 HP outboard. I was able successfully replace…read morethe water pump but, broke the shift connector in the process. In order to replace the connector the power head needed to be removed. I didn't know how to remove the power head so I called several marina's that service Evinrude motors but, none would take on the work because the motor was 25 years old. One marina told me to contact Munro Marina. I called and spoke with the owner, Al. When I explained what I did he knew immediately what was wrong. I trailered the boat to Munro Marina on Saturday 9/30. I met with Al and his wife, they were both very friendly. After completing the paperwork, Al came outside to look at the engine. When I asked when he thought the engine would be repaired he replied by the end of the week. On Friday 10/6 Al called me to let me know the engine was repaired. Thanks to Al and his wife for your professionalism and quickly repairing my engine.

Run, don't walk from this place. I placed an order for a new boat at the Edison Boat Show. The boat I was interested in was discounted for the show. No MSRP was listed on the boat, as was done by the other dealers. Mark Hattman told me that the MSRP was $80,000 above the discounted price. When I got home and did my own calculations, I realized that Mark had lied to me. He no doubt did this, so that when I saw other boats, I would think I was getting a great deal. After arguing for 5 days, I finally was refunded my deposit. But I really wanted the Regal. So, I placed an order for an incoming boat. Again, I should have walked away when I saw the rider to the contract. The boat was finished and left the factory the same day. It arrived at Sheltered Cove Marina the next day. I received a text from Mark, that the boat had arrived, but that they would not prep the boat until payment was made in full. Full payment was made the following day via wire transfer. I also received texts from the salesperson asking me when I wanted to come in for him to show and explain the boat to me. I was scheduling with him for the following weekend or the second weekend. That is when I received a text from another employee, telling me the boat would not be ready for five weeks after full payment was made, which by this time was two weeks ago. This was after Memorial Day weekend. Since they had my money, there was no rush for them to get my boat in the water. Their pre-delivery inspection missed that the flag pole was missing and that the ski tow pylon was missing. First they tried to claim that they were in storage on the boat. Then they realized that they had not been included, and I finally received them from Regal. They expect me to install both items, something that they should have done. The table base, for my Magma grill, was in the contract. They placed a generic piece without a pedestal to connect my grill, improperly using pan head screws instead of oval head screws which is what was called for. I argued with Mark Hattman and finally he would get the $149 piece if I brought the boat back for servicing at the end of the season. I would never use them again. Plus, what was I do for this season? Upon receiving the boat, I found the Bimini top had been ripped. They would not have told me in my opinion, if I had not found it. They did in fact give me a new Bimini, which I had to place myself. What service? Lastly, Mark Hattman promised me in writing that I would get the extended warranty included. I had it in writing. He forgot to send in the paper work, so I ended up with the basic warranty. In my opinion, the people at Sheltered Cove, especially Mark Hattman, just wanted my money, baited me into making full payment to get my boat, and then ghosted me. Read the other reviews, my situation is very similar to the other complaints. S.K.

I understand they run a business but raking loyal customers over the coals is unacceptable . They nickel and dime everyone and I will be looking for another marina !!
