Captain Marvel charters is the BEST, don't screw around going through a fishing broker. I have ALS have been going for years they are far the best ever. Capt and crew does everything to make trip enjoyable, never had a bad trip, probably went 30 times with him. Always catch fish. read more

I was fortunate my good friend called me and had a last minute spot open on a red grouper trip. The captain and mate were pleasant and masterfully efficient, moving and keeping us rigged, baited and on fish. We had 11 keepers, numerous shorts, and several monsters, we could not budge. If your nervous about going "outside", The wide 43 foot fishing machine provided plenty of shade, shelter, and a very confident experience. A masterful captain and crew. Very Highly recommended! read more

My family and I recently went on a half day private charter with Capt Marvel out of the city docks in Naples. It was my boys (aged 5, 7) first fishing trip so the half day time slot was the perfect amount. The captain and first mate were excellent, efficient and led us right to a few good fishing holes that has reeling up a variety of fish. We caught 5 groupers that were keepers as well as a bunch of snapper, puffer fish and even a shark! My boys loved it. The boat is perfect with an inside cabin to get out of the sun/heat. I've been on numerous charter boats over the years, and they run a smooth operation. Highly recommended. read more

Clarence and his first mate were amazing. So tired of going on charters and listening to a bunch of B.S. from a guy with an over-inflated ego. The day before we went out with Clarence I actually had a guide down in Everglades City tell me he was going to take us to places only "he and God knew about." PULLLEEEZZZ. Anyway, no B.S. from Clarence and crew just straight up fishing. These guys are on task, keep you fishing and know their stuff. Plan on using them again next year. Highly recommended. read more

So this is the third time I have gone out with the Capt Marvel. Every time we have been successful. This last time we caught a limit of grouper and a bunch of various snapper and even a Permit and a nurse shark (about 5 foot). Clarence and his crew are very nice, professional, and know all the great spots to fish. I would HIGHLY recommend the full day as you will catch more and bigger fish. Even the locals go out with the Marvel, it's just that good! read more

We had another great full day trip with Brent and Clarence. These guys are so good. They are great with kids, take videos, and most importantly catch fish. Caught our limit for grouper (13lbs was the best), a bunch of snapper, a permit, shark, and assorted smaller fish. Anyways if you want to fish in southwest florida call these guys. read more

We offer full and half day Naples deep sea fishing charters year round for up to six passengers. In the summer months we also offer multi-day offshore trips. Whether you are an inexperienced or seasoned angler, our Captain and Mate will provide personal service to ensure that your Naples fishing experience is enjoyable. While the target species vary according to the seasons, there is always plenty of action. We primarily fish over either hard, rocky bottom or wrecks. The rocky outcrops are where we catch grouper, both red and gag; this is our specialty. The wrecks produce a more diverse mixture of fish: snapper, cobia, king mackerel, amberjack, permit, and goliath grouper. We stop at numerous spots during the course of a day; fish will usually only bite for a short duration on any given spot and it is best to move on when the action slows. Schools of king mackerel arrive in the winter months and we often drift through the schools using live shiners on light tackle. When the conditions are right the action is spectacular.

Captain Marvel Charters is a family owned (2nd generation) Naples Florida Fishing Charter business that has operated from the Naples City Dock since 1981. We provide offshore Naples deep sea fishing trips for up to six passengers aboard our 43' vessel Capt Marvel. We are the oldest Naples offshore fishing charter company that has continuously run from the same location at the City Dock. Our reputation, earned over the last 30 years, is our strongest asset. We take great pride in our repeat business and enjoy seeing our customers year after year.

Meet the Business Owner: Captain Tom M.

Tom is a second generation charter/commercial fisherman (the business was started by his father, Tom Sr., in 1981). He is a fully licensed Captain (1978) and has fished full time out of Naples since 1979. In addition to the Capt. Marvel, Tom owns the commercial hook and line vessel Sea Marvel. The experience and fishing spots accumulated while fishing on the commercial vessel have greatly benefited the charter boat.

Parking here is metered with one of those pay machines where you put in your space number and how long you will be there. It is reasonably priced, and there were a lot of parking spaces. I believe you can park on the bordering streets if the lots are full. Honestly, I didn't even now we were going to visit here, but I'm glad we did!
