Mike picked a great spots for trolling and shared his experience with us as we caught fish. I was very happy he cleaned the fish too!! On November 1 the captain left the dock in…read moreGail force winds with seas around 10-15 feet to go out an offshore trip with the target species, Yellow fin tuna not being around for weeks. He thought if he could get a swordfish or two it might make the trip. The wind made it impossible for him to get to the spot he had planned so he just went to some where and hoped for the best. There was one big eye tuna caught. It was basically like winning the lottery the fish picked up a tile fish rig off the bottom in 700 of water. This was no more than a money grab to end the season.
