Service Performed: Location: 3,800sqft House on a…read moremulti-sloped/angled hill Installed 7 Pilings around foundation outer frame and approximately 30 adjustable posts in the crawl space to reinforce/reconnect the ground to the floor of the house. 6 pilings were installed from within the crawlspace 1 piling required access from the exterior Quality: Truly Outstanding Workmanship, professional, well-equipped, experienced workman. Work completed before estimated completion date. On the 1 outdoor area, there was a retention stone wall, along with some other items requiring extra work to get to where they needed. After the work was done, it was all put back together and meticulously cleaned - you cannot tell that any work was done there; absolutely perfect! It was not easy to do what they did at that particular location. Value: Even though foundation repair/work is a costly service/installation; you certainly get what you pay for with Ram Jack West. I received more value than what I paid. You see, their value started 4 years ago, in 2022. I had them come out, define and price the job and signed a contract and paid 1/2 upfront. Within a couple weeks after signing I became critically ill, in the ICU and Hospital for 2 months. As a result I lost my job among other things and have a permanent disability. I reached out to Ram Jack West and they, very graciously, supported me by refunding my money immediately - especially at my greatest time of need. This is well above and beyond exceptional for a business and that is a huge factor as to why I called them back, in 2026, after I had stabalized, and got some money together. They re-bid the job, I expanded what I wanted to have done and they accomodated my requests. They helped me work out financing and walked me through the processes very thoroughly. The result was a delight from start to finish and all of it ended up being done well ahead of schedule. Truly class act! Thank you so much!

Incredibly thorough, extremely knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. Our inspectors explained what they found in every section of the house, from attic to crawlspace, and explained not just what was found, but why it mattered and how concerned we should (or shouldn't!) be. They flagged moisture issues (of course, it's Portland!), drainage concerns, rodent entry points, HVAC, and a handful of safety items, and broke everything down in a really clear "red / orange / blue" priority system that made the whole process so much less overwhelming. I really appreciated how they told us, in plain English, what was normal for Portland homes versus what needed attention. The inspection felt incredibly detailed and never rushed, and gave practical suggestions for next steps and maintenance we should expect as new homeowners in the PNW. While mistakes can happen, this experience went far beyond normal hiccups. The company was disorganized-- in one instance forgetting our scheduled week, forcing last-minute rescheduling of 18 inspections. In another sending us a "urgent" message about 6 units being scheduled for 1/21/2025 when they already inspected them on 11/21/2025. Sometimes their inspectors showed up at the wrong homes and marked them as "no-shows," charging us unjustifiable no-show fees. What made the experience unacceptable was the owner's behavior - petty, juvenile. Various examples are: despite invoices being processed promptly and checks already issued, he repeatedly pressured for immediate payment, made petty comments, demanded stop-payments and check pickups, threatened to halt inspections, and attempted to intimidate by claiming his wife was an attorney and a state judge - isn't impersonating state judge a misdemeanor? These claims were verifiably untrue and per her LinkedIn, she hasn't practiced law since 2019. Coordination issues happen. Misleading statements and juvenile conduct are a choice. We would not recommend W2W.
