Let me first state that I schedule a massage approximately 12x/year; generally mixed between private businesses and two of the schools in Dbq.
I have received several massages at Capri over the years, all of which have been top notch. What has typically discouraged me from scheduling more often are the same two things,
1.) difficulty in scheduling
2.) rudeness and poor customer service at front desk.
This most recent occurrence was no different. Called the business on Tuesday to request appt for Thurs at a specified time, and as usual my call went to voice mail, with acknowledgment of a return call. I did not receive a return call by day's end, and so halfway into following day, having still not received a call back to confirm my appt day/time, I called back. Again, call went to vm, so I transferred to the salon, who seemed somewhat confused by did confirm appt. I originally had wanted a time on the half hour, but I guess they only schedule every hour.
On morning of massage appt, I had an earlier appt elsewhere. While attempting to park at business, I thought I was early and hoped perhaps they could take me a bit early, then realized I was 7 minutes late, as my appt was at top of the hour. I entered Capri, apologized for just realizing I was 8 minutes late, and the confusion on my part, while at same time complimenting the front desk woman on the newly decorated front desk area. I inquired if I could still be seen, apologizing again, or reschedule later in day. Her response was nowhere near what I, or anyone else would have anticipated from someone in customer service. I was told, gruffly, that i was late, and no, therapist could not still see me, as they were now performing an undefined task. I was offered an an appt for 2 says later. Unfortunately, I declined. Needless to say, what has kept me away from this business in past was only confirmed today.
I will NOT be returning, nor offer any recommendations. read more
