He kept up the energy of the room during intermissions, played everyone's requests no matter how obscure they may have been lol. Hung out awhile after too and was very personable and sweet. What I like are the parquet floors and the big oval chandeliers. The decorations on the tables are very nice too with big dinner plates for the guests. This room is adjacent to another big but a little smaller room. I do not remember about the food. So I would assume it is fair- not bad but nothing spectacular as I did not remember it.I do not recall having to call a Thorny Lea staff as never had any issues. I've also attended a wedding at Thorny Lea and all I have are good things to say about the food, staff & space. The club takes care of its guests and visitors alike. I had my lifestyle portraits done with Gabriel in March 2021. Mr. Ortiz was prompt in his…read morecorrespondence and was very gracious to provide a studio space closer to my residence. Upon arrival, I was very pleased to see that he has prepared the equipment and lighting, as well as brainstormed me on the backgrounds he brought for all the outfits I was planning to showcase. Gabriel first had me rehearse poses as he fine-tunes the lighting. This was the most integral part of the shoot. Once the lighting was set, then the pictures flow out naturally. Even though I booked a 90-minute session- the four different outfits I wanted to try on, as well as an outdoor scene (Mr. Ortiz's suggestion) took us nearly 2 hours. Gabriel managed them all, and I got all the scenarios shot to full satisfaction. Gabriel then followed up by showing me the raw results, where I picked almost two dozen for him to edit and polish. The final HD photos came within about a week. Every picture was to my satisfaction. In fact, when I put some of them on Photofeeler- I manage to get many to the top 10-5% of the entire site- A rather impressive feat! Gabriel is talented, hard-working, and dedicated to his art and his customers. I plan to do another shoot with Gabriel at the nearest opportunity, just because of how happy I am with his work.
