Naming several signature flavors, Vespucci a creamy blend of Honey, Figs and Ricotta, purists will note Ms. Fontani's Straciatella to use bitter Dark Chocolate to good effect while Pistachio de Bronte and Watermelon Sorbet complete with seeds attest to quality in the purest flavors.

Decided to try this ice cream and waffle place in Brussels - recommended in a travel guide…read more Had Brussels and Liege waffles - Gaston style! Whipped cream and apples on top. Basically, you never really know what you're going to see on the menu with the exception of the classics. By far my favorites were Persian pistachio, and almonds from Verona. A definite stop when visiting Brussels!

As I was standing in front of the stand hoping to order, the employee was too focused on cleaning the waffle machine and ignored me. After a few minutes, he finally took notice. I ordered the Biscoff waffle (€4), which was drizzled with caramel and sprinkled with biscoff crumbs. The waffle was good, but quite messy to eat. In addition, the texture was soft and gooey that it was sticking to the cardboard making it even more difficult to eat. It's a bit pricey for a waffle and I did not find it that special to be honest.

The inside was elegant and had giant chocolate eggs randomly on display. It did not have the original Brussels chocolate vibe, but there were a decent selection of chocolates and the multi flavored macarons looked amazing.
