She was so respectful of what types of pictures we wanted and my guests at the wedding even commented on how present and professional she was. We would love to say that working with Studio Nine Photography was a pleasant delight but…read moreunfortunately their lack of professionalism is quite appalling and it honestly ruined our experience. While the quality of photos taken were nice, we regret trusting this studio with our wedding photos. Our first complaint is with our photographer, leading up to the wedding we were very open about specific photos we would have liked to be taken with family members. We shared a small list of the photos we would have liked, we didn't even receive half of these images. The words "Millitant" and "Drill Sergeant" were the kinder terms used to describe our photographer during the day of our wedding. Guests were yelled at, chairs were thrown, and while we hoped this was a process for getting the best images on our memorable day, yelling at elderly guests that they need to walk faster or they will not be in any photos is incredibly rude. Because of this behavior we were unable to have many photos with grandparents or elderly family members on our wedding day. After the wedding, our photographer posted a photo on her social media site to scorn our family members for having phones out during the ceremony. These were very clear images, it was easy to identify our guests, and it is completely unprofessional to shame wedding guests especially since our wedding was not "unplugged" nor did any members of the Studio Nine Photography group speak with us previously about phone usage. The first photos shared by members of this company for our wedding were shaming our guests. When we finally received our wedding photos, many images were lacking the creativity that was shown to us when we interviewed Studio Nine. We were shown super imposed images and told that the photographer would bring their own lighting to add to the creativity of our day, none of the images we received had these effects. It was unfortunate. Of course we reached out to Studio Nine to identify these issues and their response was what really turned us off with our experience. We were told that the reason some creativity was lacking in the photos was due to no communication on their part and a lack of time. Being the bride and groom, we were able to set up the timing of the wedding and could have pushed our cocktail time over to get the photos we wanted or the time the photographer needed. Studio Nine never communicated with anything about what they needed, they only told us that they would be able to create these photos. Studio Nine also agreed with us that our photographer behaved unprofessionally, but there was nothing they could do about it and could only consider it for future clients. So I am sharing with all potential future clients. My husband and I would not recommend working with a company who is lacking in effective communication, who's photographers feel entitled to subject your guests to online embarrassment, and who, after the fact, say there's nothing more they can do for you because they need to worry about future clientele instead of current clients. We regret considering this company an honest and professional organization. If you have any follow up questions or would like to see the email chain we have interacting with Studio Nine please reach out to me on this website.

We hired Lightyear Studios to do our engagement and wedding photo/videography, and it was one of the best decisions we made throughout this whole process. We couldn't be happier with the job him and his team did for us. They were incredibly professional and ensured we got all the shots we wanted and then some. They made the whole process so much more fun and worked with us every step of the way. They took a lot of the stress of that weekend away from us and made sure that we were well taken care of. Indian weddings tend to be pretty crazy between the various functions, timings and people. Lightyear made sure that we did our best to stay on track to ensure we got the key parts captured. They allowed us to stay in the moment while making sure they were shot perfectly. We absolutely loved working with them as they made the day as stress free as possible and made sure the focus was on us. As anyone who has done a photoshoot before (or not), it can be very awkward, but Nathan and Thanh did a great job keeping us engaged and laughing the whole time. Our family and friends have been so complimentary of everything they did and how easy they were to work with. We would recommend Nathan,Thanh and Lightyear to anyone who wants to ensure that they get the best photos/videos for any special events in their lives. We realized early in the process that all the planning you do is mainly for that day and it's one and done. The only things that come with you after is the photo and videos of that time, so it's imperative you get a group that will do everything they can to make sure it was all worth it. They are easily the best in the business and our wedding would not have been anything close to what it was, without them. You would be doing yourself a major disservice by going with anyone else. I don't say this because they did our wedding, because if anything, we would scrutinize even more. We say it because they are truly incredible people who care about their clients like family and make sure that your event is captured in the best ways possible. We cannot wait to work with them again and hope we see them at any upcoming events we attend

Our wedding date was scheduled one week before the pandemic occurred, when the city shut down... it was scheduled for March 21, 2020. We were crushed that we had to postpone, but knew it was no one's fault. Because we could not foresee the city shutdown, we paid Deibert the full amount a few days prior, in addition to our deposit. Every other vendor we worked with gave us our payment back (minus the deposit)... because it was the decent thing to do. Every vendor except for Deibert. They kept all of our payment, were unavailable to schedule us in 2022 since they were too busy, and wanted to charge us more money for our wedding shoot. In the end, we gave them thousands of dollars, received no photography services, and they had the audacity to feel entitled to keep all of our payments for no services rendered. And in the meantime, they opened a larger studio during the pandemic... wonder how many others they took advantage of during a hard time. I thought they were decent people during our first encounter, however they proved to us that they were capable of one of the most unethical and lowest business practices I have had the displeasure of witnessing. If you are hoping to work with honest folks, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We absolutely loved working with them from start to finish and cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning, they took the time to get to know us on a personal level and made to align on what we wanted for our photos, setting up an in-person meeting and multiple check-ins prior to the day. One the day, they were the perfect mix of take charge and creative. For example, when my big extended family all needed to have pictures taken, they got through the list efficiently, managed all of the requests, and kept us on schedule. They also came up with fun, creative, and unique ideas for picture that turned out amazingly - our venue even has one of their photos hanging up. They captured the candids and special moments, but made sure we had the right amount of posed photos on top of that too. They knew exactly what to do! They are also just really enjoyable and easy to be around and work very well as a team, which made it seem like they managed to be everywhere taking pictures at once.
