He greeted us at the door at the appointed time. Manny was very thorough, very understanding of her situation, and was always a gentleman. I could tell he was genuinely concerned because he asked a lot of questions. At the end of the day, we wound up having to keep her existing insurance. Although Manny didn't earn a commission this day, he definitely earned my respect. He was very kind, and very generous with his time while we were there. I am still getting jerked around after making multiple attempts, in multiple formats, to cancel…read morethis policy. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with any company, period. Instead of providing all cancellation requirements upfront, this company continues engaging in an endless back-and-forth process while continuing to bill the customer. Every time something is submitted, another requirement suddenly appears. It feels intentionally designed to delay cancellation rather than assist the customer. This is terrible business practice and an extremely frustrating experience. Future customers should be aware of what they may be dealing with before signing up.

This has been an awful experience for me. More than 48 hours after closing, I still had not seen…read morepayment. After contacting Sunbelt multiple times, I was finally told that the previous day, they discovered that they had requested the wrong pay off date on my paperwork from PennyMac the mortgage company therefore they didn't have the correct payoff amount so my wire transfer was cancelled. The frustrating part was that they knew that I was wondering what was taking so long because I had already called and inquired. And it wasn't until my second or third call that they told me what they had found. I should have been notified immediately that there was a major error. Not the next day after I had to reach out again. It has now been FOUR days and I still haven't been paid for the sale of my home. Sunbelt is blaming my mortgage company saying the delay is on them. PennyMac did nothing wrong. Their calculation process takes 48 hours. That is why the correct information should have been requested in the first place. The other irritating part is when I asked how this happened, ***** response was "Well I was on vacation and I thought the paperwork was correct." An employee's vacation should have no bearing on my paperwork. And blaming the mortgage company is unprofessional. Again, had the CORRECT date of payoff been requested PRIOR to my close date of 11/29, we would not be waiting on ANYTHING from the mortgage company. I am remodeling a home and because of this delay, I had to cancel several contractors who were scheduled to begin critical work on the home we are now living in. We are unable to finish critical plumbing repairs because we are still waiting on payment. Waiting now four days to be paid for the sale of a home, in which the new owners are now living in, is completely absurd.
