I got in touch through YELP! with Capitol Paralegal Services as I need to have a certified copy of my divorce decree from Oct. 2010. I may get married and, well, I thought that this is a document that I must have. I also am in Kyrgyzstan now and this is another wrinkle in the complexity of getting good service. We agreed that I can do this at the beginning of August and I emailed them the proper information and they did the rest! The document is already on its way as of yesterday and I was expecting it to take more than 2 weeks. They got it done quickly, efficiently and professionally in one week! Can you give a 0 rating?? We went to Dolly to have our marriage disolved. Very amicable between my still husband. This was in January 2013. We filed in February, thought we had signed all the paperwork and were just waiting for the final to come through. August came and went, so did September and we never saw anything but attributed it to slow courts. My still husband emailed her in September and never heard anything back. I was finally able to get her on the phone and she told me that there were several more documents that needed to be signed before our divorce would be final and that it would take several more months. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? 8 MONTHS GO BY AND YOU NEVER ONCE CALL THE CLIENT TO LET THEM KNOW THAT THE PAPERWORK ISN'T COMPLETE???? And it's not like we missed a signature page. i waited for one year to write my review i wish there is a score less than one star for this office beware this office is connected and work for a family law attorney my story was simple me and my ex reached agreement for community property settlement and since it was hand written i was told to have it rewritten in a legal form contacted that office and set appointment with Michael cant remember his last name he did what needed to be done i paid the fees and he file form to the court a month later court adopted filing and we meet again in his office to exchange what we agreed on so far no problem 2 months later i was served by Michael at my office with court paper (i have video to prove that) he acted he doesn't know what in the envelope and ask to look at it his remark that my agreement was fair to both of us and does not why she contesting agreement and that was a lie my ex told me it was his advice and recommendation my ex hired Carlson & Gevelinger the attorney at the same building with the advice and recommendation of Michael sadly to say he played both of us for there financial benefit after spending more money for attorney agreement excepted by the court with 1 amendment very minor change my personal advice do not use a want to be attorney services always retain a a true attorney with credential what they did it was morally and ethically wrong read more

I am so impressed with Michael! I called him the day before the statute of limitations was going to expire to file a personal injury lawsuit. I did not have a lawyer and had no idea how to prepare or file the lawsuit. He took the time to talk to me on the phone and he stayed late so I could come into the office after work to meet with him. We had started our dissolution paperwork with a paralegal who made the situation more difficult by being a hard-ass and asking my ex for things that were irrelevant (i.e.; work payroll stubs from 20 years ago).
