I feel compelled to warn consumers NOT to make the same mistake I did, and to stay away from Worldwide Flooring.

When I finally went over to say hello, (even though we did when we entered, with no response) and ask for help, they explained three people had called out. This is not the customers problem, nor is it a reason not to greet customers when they walk in to your establishment. You never know who they are, and what they may be in the market for. We asked where their wool rugs were located. The sales person who had gotten up from his desk, to help us, said "wool is always in our showroom." We wouldn't have known this, as we had never been to the establishment before. Overall it was a negative vibe, and we felt discouraged to continue to look around for what we wanted. We will be taking our business to a different small business location, who will appreciate us, our time and purchase. Thanks.

It seems the owner of this business just commented on this review after it's been posted for 8…read moreyears. I can assure you, I am a real customer, who utilized his company's services when we bought our home. We had new carpet installed in our bedroom in our home in Modena Park. Since he doesn't have service records it's no wonder he doesn't remember doing our carpets. Respectfully sir, don't come on my review to say I'm a competitor trying to undermine your business. My account of my experience with your and your company is completely accurate. And now he's asking for a receipt from work I had done on my home 8 years ago. Who saves receipts for 8 years? it was November 2015. I live in Modena Place in NE Philadelphia. The fact that he's actually going on Yelp to try to discredit any negative review (which there are multiple) just shows he's not a good person to work with. He could have just acknowledged the poor experience her gave to me and my husband and the other people who have reviews him and called it a day. Yet, here he is, fighting a review that's almost a decade old. I saw him comment on another review that the reviewer must be suffering from a mental illness. That judgment is in poor taste, but not surprising. He seems like a real gem. It will be my extreme pleasure to never do business with him again. Again - I'm not a competitor, undermining your business, sir. I work in healthcare. No one I know owns a carpet sales company or installation company. I have nothing to gain by giving an incredibly honest review of your business. You sold me sub par carpeting for a regular price. I got nothing special from you or your company. After dealing with another company, I realized I should have shopped around instead of going with your company, based on another's recommendation. I encouraged others to shop around, so they wouldn't have buyer's remorse like I did. And Yelp won't remove this review because I have a good history with Yelp and rate company's fairly. That's how Yelp works. If you don't want people leaving accurate reviews, that you interpret as negative, use the feedback to improve your future encounters. It's unfortunate that every time you reply to me, you make yourself look more incompetent. You're doing yourself no favors. If anyone who read this review wants to know the company we used when we purchased wall to walk for our basement please feel free to message me and I'll share their name.

Unfortunately, the installer left my home in a shocking state. I was in a meeting when they finished, so I only gave a quick glance and thought everything looked fine. Later, when I inspected more closely, I was stunned by the mess left behind. It was unacceptable and very disappointing to have to clean up after a professional installation. Great carpet and decent workmanship, but the lack of respect for my home and cleanup was incredibly frustrating.

We had carpet replaced and vinyl plank flooring put in a few years ago. I'm only writing this…read morereview now because every time I walk on my carpet or see the gaps in the floor I'm reminded of what a terrible job installers did. I hate leaving bad reviews, and always give companies a chance to rectify. First of all, my house is old, so the upstairs had leveling under the old carpet. The installers , who spoke zero English by the way, threw out the leveling planks and now I have holes in my floor under the new carpet. Every time I walk up there I step into a ditch. We had the rep come out to see but nothing was ever done about it. About a year or two after, we decided quite stupidly, to use them again for the vinyl floor. They did an ok job in most of the rooms except when you look at the edges by the walls. Huge gaps that don't butt up to the walls so my floors move and space out. Plus it looks sloppy. The trim they put around corners of wall doesn't stay nailed in, so everyday I have to push them back in. The other issue we had after installation was ink coming off the vinyl. It looked like dirt all over our feet and no matter how much I washed or scrubbed the floors it wouldn't stop. The company sent a woman to test the floors. We had a new puppy at the time who had a little accident. I sprayed a paper towel with the puppy urine cleaner and proceeded to wipe up the small piddle. Well wouldn't you know, the woman who was there to take a sample of the floor lied in her report and said we didn't clean up the urine with nothing but a dry paper towel! Now I'm a total clean freak and would NEVER leave dog urine on my floors! So this lie voided anything being done to rectify the situation. Thankfully, with no help from them, the ink seemed to stop coming up off the floor after a few more washes. However, the floors constantly show streaks and footprints no matter how much you wash them, especially after using their recommended floor cleaner. It leaves a yucky film. Now I'm looking at selling my house. I can't sell it with holes in the upstairs floor under the carpet. I'll have to get new carpet put in and spend more money. Oh, and the 6k carpet I bought is so cheap and is fraying all on the stairs. Mind you 6 k to carpet 3 small bedrooms, a 3 foot by 3 foot hallway and one flight of stairs. Another 6 k to do my downstairs in vinyl plank. My house is only 1200 square feet . I also recently needed a vinyl plank replaced in my kitchen due to a chip from dropping a pot. They charged me for an entire box of flooring and ended up replacing a quarter of my kitchen floor. All for one plank. Then they did it wrong and left a gap in between planks, and had to come back to fix it. That took an additional few weeks, I'll never use them again.
