After receiving the deposit and agreeing on a start date, he tried to reschedule at the last minute and later claimed illness, delaying work for nearly a week. When he did show up, he worked sporadically, often citing excuses like traffic, dead phones, car trouble, and eventually a family medical emergency. Despite several assurances, he made little progress and left key tasks undone, including unpainted trims, mismatched ceiling colors, and exposed outlets. Frustrated and disappointed, we ultimately decided to terminate Mr. Laflamme's services after he missed yet another scheduled workday without notice. Although we had paid most of the agreed amount and made efforts to accommodate him, Mr. Laflamme left our home in an incomplete and unsafe state. We expressed feeling especially let down, as we had treated him hospitably, including providing lunch and introducing him to our family. He took all the unused paint we paid for never provided us with the recipt(probaly to return and take the money) In the end, we had to host a family gathering in an unfinished home, which was both embarrassing and upsetting. Really appreciated his willingness listen ask client for advise on options before moving forward. Installation was made challenging due to large non movable center island which sat on old Pergola flooring. Note, in photo shoe mould not nailed in as team was requested to just cut so that the primed moulding could be painted first. Also had Rich's install new carpet on main hall staircase. This too was a quality job.

I would have had to wait weeks to months and pay crazy shipping charges for a small amount of flooring needed if it weren't for these guys. Their price was fair and they were honest. They refunded me for some of the flooring when they inspected it before pickup and saw damage. I enjoyed my experience with them so much I ended up buying more of the same floor to complete another room. Pickup was quick at the rear of the building and the guys who loaded up my vehicle were very careful and professional. Their showroom was clean and organized. A lot of flooring places do not stock merchandise (with good reason upfront cost/space is an issue, etc.), but these guys have a big warehouse. Refused to call me at work to discuss after my wife told them to repeatedly. The next day, They were behind schedule because of this, I got them to tear out the old tile, but they left the floor VERY uneven, you can fell it moving under your feet in some places, The refrigerator was so uneven, the doors did not close properly. They kept asking me to pay the balance, I told them they had to fix the floor under the refrigerator, two more visits later, they got it level, but the rest of the floor, they have refused to address or respond to. I paid the balance, let them know it was under protest. They could not care less. Buyer beware!

I've emailed them about this fraudulent charge and have yet to receive a response. Shocked to see this crude scamming. Refusing to issue a full refund is typical corporate scummy business practice but submitting a false charge is an unethical act that usually only businesses of lesser sophistication pursue.* Picture of fraudulent charge below! "Lauren R." has responded on behalf of Lumber liquidators with the predictable corporate PR 101 cookie cutter damage mitigation response. They have not reached out to make this right!* Tl;Dr: This company increased the price AFTER I paid the invoice and by 14%! When I canceled the order due to them violating our contractual agreement, they refused to issue me a full refund. I had to hound them and was lied to numerous times and still have not received what I am owed. To add insult to injury, all of the employees I interacted with were apathetic and profoundly rude. On Friday, 08/27/2021, I paid the invoice in full. On Monday, 08/30/2021, the material was delivered. On Thursday, 09/02/2021, at 4:26pm, they called to inform me that they had made a "mistake" and that I would have to pay an additional $162.00 AFTER I paid IN FULL for their services. The salesperson then belittled me telling me there was nothing he could do since I ordered "cheap" flooring as if that should be at all relevant to whether or not you rectify a mistake the company made. He acted like they were doing me a great favor for charging me $1, 311.81 to install laminate on a 150 sq. ft. room. When I told them I wanted to cancel the job (as not only was this unethical but made their price exceed their competitor) they refused to pick up the material without charging an additional fee. I had to lug the material down my stairs and into my car (whilst recovering from Hernia surgery) to return it to the store. The employee didn't even have the decency to put on the typical customer service act and pretend to care or apologize. Once at the register, I had to prod him into revealing that I wouldn't get a full return but a partial minus delivery fees of "$221.00". I asked to confirm how much the refund would be and he told me the amount minus "$230.00" Two days later I received refunds that added up to the price I paid minus $261.73. The delivery fee was $229.00 in actuality as per the paperwork from the invoice. (A ridiculous price as the amount of flooring was able to be transported in my compact car and required only one person to move. Moreover, I wasn't even given the option to pick up the material which I certainly would have had I been allowed and known how easy it was and how much the delivery fee was.) Back to the delivery fee: I called the store to ask where the remaining $31.73 ($261.73-$229.00) of this already inadequate refund was. I was rudely told that I had been refunded the correct amount. I broke down the math for the salesperson and he changed his story, now revealing that the rest of my refund was being withheld because I only returned 6/7 boxes. This is a patent lie. I returned all of the boxes. When I called him on his bluff, he insisted that I stole the box of lumber worth $17.00! After we exchanged words, he escalated the situation and threatened me twice. Finally, after cooler heads prevailed he said he would "do me a favor" and give me $17.00 for the box of lumber he falsely accused me of stealing. I informed him that I was missing $31.73 not $17.00 and he said the rest was tax on the delivery fee. He could have told me part of the missing money was tax at the beginning of this conversation but did not. After I ran the calculations whilst on the phone (something he couldn't even be bothered to do) I agree that that made sense however the tax amount was a dollar too much. He refused to give me this paltry amount that I argued for on pure principle and told me to "take it or leave it" and call "corporate". The corporate hotline wasted 30 mins of my time waiting on the phone and they only gave me back a $1.00 for which I have to go through the tedium of printing, signing, and scanning an agreement instead of just issuing this tiny amount like any normal half decent company. Avoid this company like the plague! Wish I could post the video and audio recordings I have as evidence in addition to the pics below.

My designer, Barbara Campbell, was wonderful to work with. She was patient, and even though I changeed my mind a couple times, she made sure all my billing was up to date. She also made sure I got the best price with the most current sales promotion. My installers were highly professional and excellent at their job. My entire house done in two days. I honestly never thought I would be able to afford hardwood flooring throughout my house! I could not be happier! Worldwide was probably the third place I went to. He and his helper removed the old tile and, even though they stunk from smoking and took lots of breaks to sit in their truck, they did get the old tile removed cleanly. After that, their work fell apart. Don refused to follow the contracted process regarding subflooring. His tile installation was uneven as a result. His quarter round replacement was sloppy woodwork and he left the toe kicks under the cabinets hanging loosely (no glue or anything). After running late for several days, the installers left without quite completing the job. The job was for about $9,000. Worldwide looked at it afterwards but would not send anyone other than Don to repair it and we were unable to get him scheduled. We withheld about $3,800 via credit card disputes and another company has done the repairs for about $5,500. We will never contract for any work to be done by Worldwide subs again.
