I had purchased a dress from a boutique for an upcoming wedding that was a size too large. I had…read moreabout a week timeline so I was really nervous about finding someone to be able to do work on that short of notice or whether I'd have to pay some sort of ridiculous expedite fee. I had a hard time finding the place (not being very familiar with Helena) because it was poorly marked and in a basement (and a little creepy at first, I may admit.) But don't be misled by first impressions. I'm under the impression that it is owned by a local woman who essentially does all the work herself (real mom-n-pop sort of place) and was greeted by I would guess her grandson? who helps her out. She assured me that 1 week was no problem at all and I was in and out in a matter of a few minutes. Needless to say, I got the dress right on time and it only cost me $8 which I could hardly believe. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who was needing alterations on everyday clothing and is on a short timeline. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure if I would bring more formal items...not likely a wedding dress or that sort of thing. I would go to an actual dress shop unless on a very tight budget. But that is simply based on my impression of the place and the work and I may be misled. Hope this helps!

They are a very well made pair of traditional western boots and are exactly what I ordered. The quality of the leather is first rate, and they've held up very well. IIRC correctly Ryan sources his sole leather from Italy and the leather for the uppers from South America. As much as I prefer to buy American, leather tanned in the US is almost always lower quality. Die to EPA regulations it is almost always taken on board tanning ships and then tanned offshore using quick and easy tanning methods that produce low quality leather that won't last.
