We were group of four with large size luggage. Both quotes & bookings are done via email. Once you receive a quote and are ready to pay there are several payment options offered. I used PayPal. Both pickups were easy. On day of pickup at LHR I got a text alert from Blackberry & the driver regarding where the car was and estimated arrival time. The driver met us at the suggested meeting place at LHR on time. Ditto Southampton cruise terminal pickup with a drop off at our London hotel. I'd booked with Blackberry if I'm ever in London again.

I need a car for the weekend sat - mon, but he insisted I take the friday as well, of course paying for the friday, but NOT being able to collect it until the evening/afternoon. I said to him that didn't make any sense as if I'm paying a full price I should be able to have the full day, but NO I couldn't - I never really understood why. His English was bad and he kept repeating himself not making any sense avoiding my questions. I would never ever want to deal with a unreliable company like this. That could only end up in trouble. My warning is to stay away.

I have never gotten great service from them, but for me what makes this a 1-star company is the lack of directional knowledge of the drivers. This is the key area for a car hire company, and one on which they fail miserably. Drivers consistently do not know the best ways to get to your destination, even local ones. Most egregiously, on a simple trip from Hackney Road to King's Cross, the driver went all the way up to Highbury & Islington, only to cut back down to Pentonville Road, making what should have been a 5-10 minute journey 15-20 minutes. Indeed, we were running so far behind we had to get out and run to the station to make our train, and they still docked us £12! Word to the wise: download and use Uber, or hail a black cab. At least they know where they're going.
