The driver OJ from Jamaica had to be the rudest driver I have ever encountered, and I have been all over the world. He drove while talking on his cell phone in Jamaican drowning out my own conversation. He refused to wear a seat belt so the alarm sounded the entire 20 minutes. Then he complained about passengers the rest of the time. If the company is any reflection of OJ , save yourself and move on! read more

This is the way to go if you are in port on and ship. Was on a NCL ship that had bus's taking us all into town. The wait was over an hour to go just a few miles. CRAZY I tried my ride share apps but nothing. So I just looked up a cab service. Our driver was there in 5 mins with a van which worked out great for us. Since we had my partners mother with us who has a walker. Plus the guy was super amazing. read more

EverGreen Taxi, Capital Cab, & Taku Taxi are all owned by the same folks, apparently. I was nervous about transportation to our 5 am flight at the Juneau airport, since if the cab didn't show up there would be no other way to get there. But our experience was very positive. I called the night before to schedule a ride, the dispatch person was very professional. After the call ended I received a text message confirming the ride, providing a reservation number, the name of the driver (Emery), & the license plate number of the car that would be picking us up at 3:30 am. The car arrived outside our hotel at 3:29 am, and we were at the airport less than 15 minutes later. Excellent service! read more

LITERALLY ANY OTHER CAB SERVICE, UBER OR LYFT ARE BETTER: Undependable and rude. I called the day prior to arrange a taxi to take me to a medical procedure at the hospital. The next morning the cab never showed up. Five minutes after the scheduled pick-up time I called the office and was given the excuse that the driver would eventually get there. (Why had I bothered giving them a pick-up time if they were not going to honor it?) When I complained that I had scheduled the pick-up in advance, I was hung up on. I called back, but they have caller I.D. and immediately hung up again. The cab never arrived, nor called, and I had to drive myself to the hospital which is what I was trying to avoid by using a taxi. Since you can't drive after a procedure, and a staff member drove me home, my vehicle is now stuck at Bartlett. CAPITAL CAB IS THE WORST. read more

Cabs were very difficult to find. However we found it best to call. Even at the airport! The drivers were all friendly and all cabs were mini vans and can accommodate large group with luggage. read more

I called this cab company and was Told pick up would be in 10-15 minutes, that would work. Let them know where I was at, my name and the location I was going (glacier cinemas). Call back after 25 minutes has gone by, was told the driver was right around the corner and should be there in a minute. 10 minutes pass, call back and he says his driver is just sitting over at Fred Meyer and there is Nothing he can do about it. My one day in town and wanted to go watch a movie, but these ppl just cost me that. The last couple of times trying to use the cabs service in Juneau has been a total Joke!! Called Capital Cab a few nights to schedule a pickup at 5:15 am to get to the airport. Dispatch confirmed reservation, by 5:15am when the driver didn't show up, called dispatch and they said there was no record of the reservation and that their 2 drivers were at the airport dropping people off and they couldn't help us. So, we had to call another cab, which we did. The other cab driver showed up by 5:25am and greeted us in a friendly manner and helped us load our luggage right away since we were running late since the Capital Cab driver never showed up. We were getting in the bag when Capital Cab shows us to 'pick us up' ( at 5:30am), we told him what dispatch said and that he didn't show up so we had to call another cab. He got upset and told us that we had to take our luggage out and load it in his van. We politely told him we were already running late because he didn't show up and the other can driver had already loaded our luggage. He got angry and told us to load our luggage in his van and we repeated that we had to go. He responded by angrily saying 'fuck you' and walking towards the driver side of his van. We told him we had to go. Again he replied with 'fuck you guys!' He was very angry and unprofessional, it was scary how angry and seemingly violent he got. He is the one that didn't show up! His dispatch told us there was no record of us calling and that they didn't have a driver to drive us to the airport. Do yourself a favor and find a different company if you need a cab. I usually use Glacier Taxi, but since they were booked I called Evergreen and booked a ride for 4am the day I had a flight. That morning I waited outside and didn't see anyone, so called at 4:03am just to make sure someone was on the way. The guy that answered told me no one was on the way and was irritated and said I should have called the night before. I told him I HAD booked a ride, and he sighed and said he'd come pick me up just because he was traveling on the same flight. When he arrived I had to drag my suitcase quite a ways to get to the vehicle. I said, "Thank you; I know this isn't how you intended to spend your morning." He said angrily, "Hurry up and get in. The only reason I'm taking you is because I'm on that flight." I said, "I had a ride booked." He said, "You shouldn't have waited a half hour after 4 to call." I said "No comment," because he was clearly a rude, selfish, deluded person. I later saw him in line at the airport telling a fellow driver his victim-story about how if I'd wanted a ride I should have called to check the night before. When the bill came in my e-mail I saw that his account was called "Jamaican Jerk." This person should either undergo some serious customer service training or be fired. I have not been treated so rudely as a customer in years. Will not be using Evergreen Taxi again. read more

Do NOT call Capital Taxi/Evergreen taxi from the Ferry terminal. Said a taxi was 15 minutes out. Called 20 min later and no answer. Called 30 minutes later and they said the taxi came and picked people up. Very disappointing, don't use them....not many options and probably why they don't care. read more

Don't waste your time. Literally your time. Told to wait 10 minutes waited over 70. Dispatch and driver werent the least bit concerned obviously they know it's just a tourist industry that you probably aren't going to be back so they don't care about your service or time. Every time I called they said 10 more minutes they weren't being honest about the timeframe we could have done something else while we're waiting, instead we just waited in the parking lot. I highly suggest you call another company. read more
