How have I not reviewed them yet??…read more My daughter was born premature and Dr. Kodu has been there every step of the way for us. He is kind and we LOVE the receptionist and nurse as well. Their practice used to be in the Ashburn Village shopping center and I am happy they moved. This place has easier parking and it's just warmer, newer, and nicer. Not to mention the fact that it's RIGHT near Starbucks so after well-visits, mommy can treat herself! :) Dr. Kodu is so amazing that my daughter wanted to dress like a doctor for Halloween. My kids love him and his staff and he is just so supportive. We can call his emergency line any time of the night and he will get back to us and give us answers. He does not sugar-coat anything. He is straight-forward and honest and I respect that about him. I have always felt as though I can ask him anything about the kids from their weight (are they gaining enough weight?? too much??) when they were little babies to their attitudes as toddlers. (Normal. This too shall pass.) I don't know what I would do if he moved to another area or stopped taking our insurance. We love the staff so much and they always remember the kids names and are so happy to see them! I LOVE the late hours too. Some days, he is open and takes appointments until 8pm which is AMAZING because I can't always make it to appointments earlier in the day.

You only pay when you personally want them, not to have them transferred to a new practice. Now the new doctor has no way of knowing her shot history etc, because the practice is being so difficult about passing on this information. She is 2 years away from college where this information is imperative and the office will not transfer the records. This is highly disappointing.

I got to the desk and the woman say your son has no insurance and told me what it wold cost me For his first ever doctors appointment I busted in to tears already feeling like a failure to my 5 day old. And then this sweet soul name bashir khan eased my mind instantly with his kindness and willingness to work with me even with no insurance. He has been a extension to our village for 9 years and my children think he is amazing. He is more then just the children's pediatrician he is a human being that truly cares and wants to help everyone that walks in those doors. He remembers every interaction with his patients down to the temperature they had on the last visit. He is amazing! absolutely I recommend him to anyone and everyone in need of a pediatrician.

He is extremely thorough, explains things in a very simple way, and some how remembers things that happened with the girls months ago. He is super present during the visits, honestly the best bed side manner. I was going to Loudoun pediatrics for five months and I regret even setting foot in that office when I could have had ten times the care for my girls with Dr. Khan the best pediatrician in the area. The staff is amazing, the office is super nice and very accessible (even with my giant twin stroller). Guys runnnnnn with your kids to this office. I am soooo incredibly grateful I did.

My son is in daycare and has had it all...RSV, hand, foot, mouth, colds after colds, fever, diaper rashes, multiple ear infections etc. I take him in every time something is off for a sick visit (because I'm crazy!) and thank god for those walk-in hours. Go early before 7:30 because people line up at the door but you'll be in and out within 15 minutes. Tip: schedule your physical appointments ASAP because they book up fast. I absolutely love Dr. Carroll, but can't say a bad thing about anyone on the staff. I was SO happy we made the change to Ashburn Pediatrics when we did.

My wife took our 10 month daughter for her well child check excited to see how she was growing and came out in tears because that told her that she was horrible for having questions about the vaccine schedule. I am PISSED at this clinic. I work in a pediatric clinic for crying out loud!!! If someone has concerns you don't laugh at them and tell them they're are a horrible parent because they have concerns. APPLAUD them for thinking critically and wanting them to protect their child. If they want to spread out the vaccines who cares?! You get to more money out of it so shut the fuck up and do your job as a doctor and HELP rather than BELITTLE. Horrible. No other way to describe it. DO NOT come here.

I haven't always had the best experiences with urgent care, but this place was amazing!…read more I (this was when I was 16) went in with chest pain, and my initial observations were two things: 1) the interior was decorated very nicely and in a very kid-friendly manner, which was great, and 2) the waiting room was completely empty, which I initially took as less of a great thing. After all, if they had no customers, were they really that good? This all changed, however, once I saw the doctor. I quickly realized that because they didn't have as many patients as other urgent care facilities (which makes sense - urgent care for children is a lot more niche than urgent care in general), each patient was able to receive a LOT more time from a doctor. In fact, my experience here was in complete contrast to my experiences at the regular urgent care places. I mentioned earlier how I haven't always had great experiences with those. Specifically, I was once incorrectly diagnosed as "totally fine" after I had actually torn my ACL during a skiing accident. The regular urgent care doctor spent approximately a single minute talking with me (no doubt because they had so many patients), before they took an x-ray (which CAN'T see ligaments) and told me everything was alright. Due to this incorrect assessment, I ended up continuing with sports for 3 months before seeing another doctor, at which point I learned that I actually had a whole bunch of problems in my knee that 3 months of sports after an injury had only made worse. Bringing it back to PM Pediatrics, the amount of time I got with the doctor was truly amazing and a complete contrast. The doctor stayed with me talking for about 15-20 minutes. Now, the thing is, I also happen to be somewhat of a hypochondriac. However, the doctor (Dr. Chung, I believe) was not only able to TELL me that I had heartburn, but also, crucially, CONVINCED me of it too. He spent a great amount of time explaining to me everything that I needed to know - from what I was feeling, to why, to how it wasn't any of the things I was really worried about, to what treatments I needed, and how to take them. I never felt rushed throughout any part of the appointment, with the doctor always happy to answer in detail any questions I had (at the regular urgent care place I almost always felt rushed). All in all, based on my experience, this place is fantastic. A huge part of pediatrics is not only providing an accurate medical diagnosis but also comforting the patient and their parents - and this place does an amazing job at all of those. The waiting room is a very uplifting place, the staff are extremely friendly, and the doctors are willing to take their time to answer and assure the questions of both patients and their parents.

I love Meghan Kish she is the absolute best medical provider I have ever seen. She is truly a…read moretreasure and has picked up on things others have missed - my cardiologist, endocrinologist etc. Her bedside manner combined with her ability to connect disparate data points to understand your overall health is an ability I have never ever seen to this level. I'm amazed and will be forever grateful for her care. The reason for 4 stars is the pediatrics (it should be a much lower rating but love love love Meghan and her services here too much to deduct more). Meghan is wonderful with my daughter. However we had a 315 appointment for my daughter and by the time she finally got her shots, it was nearly 5pm. That is TOO long to wait around for shots for your kid who is extremely nervous about shots to begin with. (And it was an appointment for ONLY shots. Not an annual exam.) Also, having a man walk in she has never met with a mask on, needles and vials on a try, never introduce himself to me or my child, wearing a mask, and just basically saying sit on the table and hold her down like this.....ummm...my 5 year old literally dove behind the chair sobbing and begging to not get shots (she has never acted like that either). I am kicking myself for acquiescing to that bullshit. I can't believe I just moved the chair and dragged her out and did it. I'm just as mad at myself as I am at the lack of proper interaction with a child. I realize at some point you may have to hold down your child to get shots but if you have pediatrics in your name, please understand a child is small but still a human to interact with not simply be dealt with. And if I am have already been there FOREVER waiting, maybe slow down and talk for a moment. Picture a tall large masked person coming at you when you were that age. Also understand that psychology today and other journals discuss that this type of interaction could lead to a lifetime of avoidance of doctors offices and shots. In addition, when my daughter got her hemoglobin done here, the person who did it (she was calm and trusting then - not anymore) could not get the stick. I asked if we should warm up her finger to try again and I was told no. However that is what they do at childrens?! It is a legit suggestion. And also perhaps try on the side not the very tip....that is also perhaps not a best practice. This isn't my world, however, again, if you have pediatrics in your name....and perhaps have one interesting thing for a child somewhere in the office. As an adult, go here. See Meghan. She very well could save your life and she is the best ever. But take your kid elsewhere until they are a bit older...
