I trusted them to take care of and pay all of the bills that were included in my settlement, but they failed to do so. The bill was never paid and was eventually sent to collections, which is now negatively affecting my credit score. What is especially disappointing is that the settlement documents made it appear that the bill had been accounted for, and the law group's name was associated with the bill, yet the bill was never actually paid. I feel that I was misled and that this was handled in a very dishonest and sneaky manner. I trusted this law group to properly handle my settlement and pay the outstanding bills as they were supposed to. I am extremely disappointed, especially because I was a recurring client who had previously trusted and used this law group for other accidents. After this experience, I no longer have confidence in their services and will not be using them again. I wonder why my check was not sent the date that was on the check. I took the check to chase, their bank and COULD NOT CASH due to it was over $2,500. I went out of town and back today Monday 5/4 went to my bank Wells Fargo complete transaction. I could NOT complete because Wells Fargo has flagged Your Attorney checks "IT MAY NOT BE PAID". I have been talking with Christoper and he overheard with the teller said. Christoper called the CFO because they were not aware. So I asked if I could get my money zelle, answer no. It could be wired but I HAVE TO SEND THIS CHECK BACK in order for them to wire which would take another 5 to 10 days. When I can just write VOID on the check and mail back but still get my wire. T-Boned last week by a careless driver, and my rare BMW Touring wagon, we believe, is totaled. State Farm has DENIED LIABILITY. How would I have broadsided myself? My car is not Michael Jackson with the ability to moonwalk sideways. I am recently retired, live with my dog in a Tiny House, on a pension, and my bank account dipped last month to $2.17. I don't know what to do. I wrote advertising copy for many years and always focused on two things - "catchy and HONESTY." That "Like a Good Neighbor" line is just that! A line. I've had to count pennies simply to come up with enough to buy myself and my dog, food. This is foreign to me. My best friend passed last month. Two of my beloved dogs last year. I lost others and am living in severe grief - and now this. There are witnesses to this crash - and STATE FARM will NOT accept their eyewitness testimony because they could not remain on the scene until police slowly arrived. Had to pick up a child from school.. In the meantime, the STATE FARM manager sat at home with his children playing in the background as he snickered and denied a HIGH IMPACT T-BONE CLAIM. Their insured consistently lied on the scene saying that she, in a Jeep Cherokee stopped at the four way stop. She then hit me at HIGH SPEED causing deep damage, destroying my passenger side. EMT's on the scene said that only a Ferrari would have been able to get to that kind of speed from a 'stop, in seconds. State Farm - can't see it. State Farm should be ashamed. I could not sleep at night saying "claim denied - call your own insurance" for a cut and dry case like this one. I will tell about this to the moon and back. It is a mean, spiteful, diabolical, company. Buyer Beware. If you're insured by them, reports are that they'll deny you, too. My car is destroyed and the State Farm has said "so what!"

End of January I got a call from an Angel Chekira Tolbert her whole demeanor was on point from the first call checking on me and answering all my questions and concerns showing me she cared about what I was going through and assuring me everything was going to be alright . She always called with updates and answers calls and text she deserves a raise !!! Well then my case was with an investigator Tracy , she made me relive the accident all over again. The was questioning why I didn't do things differently the day of the accident. Even blaming me for why the settlement is not a higher amount telling me I should have went to therapy and questioning me about a procedure I did attempt to get , but placed me in the hospital no concern about that . Then was able to prove I did therapy all the way up til the procedure and nothing was addressed. Then I was off work from December 15 til April and sent documentation about this again crickets I was told I can't get any money for my lost wages because I'm self employed this left a really bad taste in my mouth about the whole situatio. Was sent a letter about the settlement and a call checking to see if I knew about the update . I called investigator was told she still working on it , after this I got no updates.
