Not sure if they have other types, but there were the classic bikes, no gears, coaster (pedal) brakes. Cape May is very flat so it's fine to have no gears. They have baskets to attach to the front of the bike. I'd recommend one to carry your stuff. If you get the chance, grab a bike and go for a nice bike ride as the sun is setting on the bay.
