People are constantly doing it to me now. This past July I got my first in a set of two framed thigh pieces from Rosco. I've had this design in mind for over four years, drew up an original myself and had major anxiety ahead of time because I'm a crazy perfectionist. Rosco took what I had drawn and made it even better. He gave me terrific advice on colors and shading techniques to make the piece really pop. He couldn't have been more patient while I psychotically asked him to reposition the stencil four times. The end result is just whoa. It healed perfectly, the intricate frame looks incredibly beautiful, the anchor and banner are vibrant. Overall it's exactly what I wanted. Any time my tattoo is showing, the compliments are nonstop. The staff here have personalities to match the terrific work they do. The owner, Roger, is kind of like a pit bull - a little intimidating looking but actually a sweetheart. No doubt, they're the best in the area and the best priced too. I can't wait to come back and complete the pair!

Joseph was arrogant, dismissive and annoyed within seconds of our introduction. I asked for a simple tattoo and tried to draw a picture of what I wanted, but he grabbed the pen out of my hand, said "give me a second I will do it" and walked away annoyed for the first time. I agreed to his next plan, he was fine while he did my small piece, but as soon as I said I wanted the halo bolder to be the statement of the piece... he started with all the excuses as to why not change it. After him getting annoyed with me inquiring about it all, I asked if he would bolden the halo if I didn't end up liking how it came out after healing. He told me to just ask whoever did my next tattoo to "hit it again, it's not a big deal." He finally heard my concern after I talked to my friend about it- so he did end up going over the halo again for me. After this very short interaction, I was asking about maintenance and again.... Annoyed angry man reared his head. He kept saying, it's small, it's not a big deal. I asked about aquaphor and he again said I'm overthinking it. I explained that with my previous 5 tattoos I had issues with cracking/healing etc. Again I could tell he was dismissing me so I reminded him that just because this was small and meaningless to him.... It was very important for me and my Mom who I lost too soon. I was charged $120 for a quarter sized tattoo which was done within 5-10 min. I was ok with paying that because it was a very special addition that I wanted don't on a very special day while I was on vacation. The way he refused to listen from the moment we met to the moment I gave them the $120 for my 15ish minutes in the studio... disgusting. I would highly recommend not using him as an "artist" because he acted more like an angry, hungover, teenage boy who was getting paid too much for his half a** work. On the flip side- the studio was very centrally located in Ptown and they accepted walk ins so that's a plus. I just wouldn't recommend accepting Joseph as an offered person to get inked by, but I'm sure there are other artists there who are wonderful.

First - the space is so comfy. The waiting room is cozy and the room where you actually get the tattoo done had everything you could need, homey touches but still extremely clean. The person at the front desk was so patient and professional, the office was clean and had a great atmosphere and aesthetic, and Mikey, our piercer, was so wonderful! Mikey's work space is decked out in the coolest The Nightmare Before Christmas theme, which happens to be a movie my daughter had a brief obsession with not that long ago, so she instantly was so relaxed considering she was about to have her ears pierced! She was very excited but also expectedly very nervous, but Mikey explained every step so she knew what to expect and it was so quick and over in a flash she didn't even flinch! She absolutely loves her new pierced ears and is looking at them in the mirror every chance she gets.
