It's not a bad place, clean and mostly friendly…read more When I came in, I was told I had to wear a mask as the receptionist held one out to me. I'm not sure why my mask was an issue. It was on my face and covering all my facial orifices. The one she handed me was unwrapped and out of a box that they are putting their dirty hands in. I'm not taking a mask from someone who has food on their desk and has been touching other people's IDs and insurance cards. So the words cross contamination mean anything to anyone? Open boxes of masks are breeding grounds for germs...no thank you. Again, why would I have had to remove my freshly washed mask inside a building that does not allow unmasked people and have to put on something that has been touched several times as the receptionists shuffle through the box. A medical center should know better. No one said anything about not wearing deodorant for my mammogram and I'd forgotten so I showed up with deodorant on. I only realized the issue when I spotted the deodorant wipes, something they should point out to people, just in case. Of course, I went the day without deodorant because I had a three hour commute after my appointment. There was a sign on the wall that said you could ask for deodorant but when I was done and headed to the front desk, I was greeted with, "Goodbye, have a nice day." Sorry I interrupted your conversation with your desk mate. Years ago, the place used to be much more service oriented.

I just had the absolute WORST medical visit experience of my life here. I went in and there were…read moretwo nice women at the desk. They asked if I had my insurance card and I said "No, it's in my account and you can see I have a balance, I think my insurance info is in there." Stated a fact with zero emotion. One of them immediately thought I was copping attitude and I wasn't. I even told her, "I hear you. it has nothing to do with you guys. I wish insurance covered more of my care." and I laughed, trying to connect and make small talk. Then, one of them nicely walked me back and I said goodbye kindly. I gave zero attitude. I made an effort to be very polite when going to the changing room. Then, I was given my mammogram by a woman who was so gruff and angry and more rough/painful than I've ever experienced. I felt like she was mad at me by how she was acting and she was rushing like crazy (I think I was the last of the day). I was very conscious to cooperate with everything she needed me to do, I was super nervous because I could tell she was angry and although it hurt more than any other mammogram I had before, I didn't say one word . After I went to get my clothes on, I heard her loudly exclaiming in the halls "I am so sick of all these Brazilians and all the old people / all the OLD PEOPLE ! " LOUDLY exclaiming this repeatedly- not difficult to hear at all. I was appalled. The front desk receptionist and my husband are Brazilian. I went around the corner after I got dressed and I said, "What did you just say about Brazilians? What is your name? What were you saying about old people ?" She said to me "You were trying to listen to me! " I said, "No - everyone can hear you shouting and laughing (she was making these statements to another nurse). Then she said "they told me you were difficult!" So, the front desk told her I was "difficult " and she was specifically rough with me and then spewing hate. This is APPALLING and extremely unprofessional. She also said "I'm not giving you my name, I'm leaving here in a week. Why do you care what I say about old people, you're not old!" She stated she was a traveling nurse. I cannot believe the CCH SYSTEM. Never ever again. Look at my reviews- this is the only negative review I've ever given.
