It took us places in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine that I've never seen before, places most tours don't go. And the price was so reasonable which included most of the meals, very nice accommodations, and the private tours. Our tour guide Debbie was so knowledgeable, kind, and organized, and our bus driver Jim was kind, accommodating, and a very safe driver. Debbie and Jim both went above and beyond to make our trip special. I will say the tour is for people who want to be on the go to see all things. Suitcases had to be outside the hotel room by 7:30 most mornings, but the lack of rest was worth it. The time spent on the bus sometimes felt a little long, but the tour covers a lot of ground. I highly recommend this trip.

Really disappointing. We stayed here for our wedding week and booked the Jarves Room because of the…read morejet bathtub. The first night we went to use it brown gunk came out of the jets. When I called the desk about it the employee cut me off to tell me I couldn't use the bathtub after 11pm (it was 9:45pm). And that stipulation was not apparent when we booked the room. I was too grossed out to use the tub at all the rest of the week, so that was a waste of money. The bathroom was overall not very clean or well-maintained. Shower had mold and needed to be re-grouted and small things like the towel holder were broken. The restaurant is super limited, only serving breakfast on weekends with like 4 things on the menu. And the food was below average. Most of the staff were very nice and the hotel has a charming aesthetic, but the standards absolutely do not match the price. I would've brought my qualms up to them instead of writing this review, but they did not bother to ask me how my stay was when I checked out. And this is more of a personal gripe, but we let them know it was our wedding week and they didn't do anything special. Usually a place in this price range gives you a little perk, like a mini bottle of champagne or a kind note waiting for you. Nothing from this place. Honestly just sad because this was a splurge we were excited about, but we should've just stayed at a more basic hotel.

Very disappointed in the Tavern on 8/14/2026, a beautiful summer day. The food we ordered was…read moreserved barely warm. I ordered the oyster roll that was over cooked, yet not hot! My friend ordered a turkey melt that was dry and not hot at all, the apples in her sandwich were stone cold and the french fries that came with both meals were obviously cooked long before the sandwiches. The waitress and hostess were very apologetic and did offer a discount but the kitchen staff needs attention from management. Also the salt shaker was so full of moisture no salt would come out, when I removed the top it was corroded and the salt was expanded beyond the glass shaker and covered in corrosion! I did write an email to corporate with no response so here is my review!
