It's great to have a hyperbaric chamber close by and they are open on Saturday too. The hyperbaric chamber sessions are about 60 to 80 minutes. They cost about $125 a session. It's a zipper that you have to enter through. He said it's comfortable inside and I can be in with my phone, shoes off though. It's in the same shopping center as Wannashake? And Jonny Cakes, both good spots too. It's next to the Troy City Fitness. Compression for the legs for increased blood flow. The compression feels good, feels like a deep squeeze massage. I got set up with my charger for my phone since it drains quickly. The compression is for a half hour. It is supposed to help you feel lighter on your feet. The cryo is only for 3 mins. Socks and gloves to avoid hypothermia. It's at -200 degrees. In the buff. Boxers for the boys and their boys, if you know what I mean. The crypto is $60 a session. My teeth started to chatter within the first few seconds. Wow. Felt aches from my knees and my elbows, due to inflammation in the area. They provide you coffee and water while you are in your sessions. The hyperbaric chamber session started around noon. Takes about 5 minutes to inflate the chamber. Clear your ears like on a plane the first few minutes. The pure oxygen in your nose takes some getting used to the taste and smell of it all. Once you are in and it's inflated and your ears have popped, it's quite comfortable to just chill out here for an hour. The bed pad could use another layer. Come in for some detox and brain clarity and great blood flow too. Depressurization right on time. Ears are popping again. Decided to try it all and do a session in the infrared sauna for a 29 minute session as well. It's warming from my core out. It feels like a warm and lovely hug. The service here is above and beyond. Mason puts you at ease and regularly checks up on you to make sure you are not uneasy or uncomfortable in every session. He has great bedside manners and is detailed in explaining the session process and benefits too. From the compression, frigid cryo, infusion of intense oxygen and the infrared heat. I feel energized and refreshed. I have been here for almost 3 hours. It feels like a full day spa day today. Feeling so fantastic. It feels like 3 hour Swedish massage. I bought a package for my husband to try it all as well, soon.

He greeted me himself and went over everything they had. He was very informative about each modality and the benefits. I did cryotherapy for the first time and he walked me through each step. I'm not a fan of cold but it was kind of refreshing and I felt so alive afterwards. I wanted to do it to simulate my metabolism. He also recommended that the cold plunge pool. I need to work myself up to that. I would definitely go back.

But I did some research and the benefits seemed legitimate and seemingly no negatives. So I'm I went a scared little puppy. Turns out it wasn't so scary. Is is cold? Well duh, yeah it's beyond freezing but by the time that registered in my brain I had 30 seconds left and I powered through it. I talked the poor kids ear off, for me that helped to pass the time and distract me from the cold. He wasn't much of a talker but he humored me. I'm sure he gets a lot of this every day. So let's talk after effects. I was sore walking in, I had done back to back pilates and yoga classes and had a bit of a headache. All my aches and head pain were immediately gone! In general i just felt good, I had more energy, felt alter and slept really well that night. At $28 a session I don't think I'd go often. But they are running a gift certificate special which you can gift yourself for $17, that I may consider!

My husband and I came in to try the cryotherapy. We are a big believer in self-care and wellness so an easier option to cold plunges are a driver. Cryotherapy has been around since the 1800s, but was officially discovered by a Japanese rheumatologist in the 1970s. Cold therapy has been around for years, but being able to condense a treatment to 3 mins and help everything. I definitely wanted to try this. In addition to cryotherapy, we tried Restore's core services which include compression, red light therapy, and infrared sauna. The infrared sauna was one of my favorite core services especially since my husband and I could do this together. Most services you can do by yourself or with another person. After our first day, we signed up for a week of unlimited services. We wanted to evaluate the benefits with a week long of working out. We definitely saw an increase of energy, restful sleep, and better skin! Everyone at Restore is so kind and helpful! There was no pressure to purchase more or commit to a membership, which made me want to come back!

Also, my shoulders and elbows hurt from a falling injury while hiking two years ago. Dr. Arnold took x-rays of my spine and did an exam. I followed the treatment plan Dr. Arnold provided by having an adjustment 3 days a week for 8 weeks. After the first appointment, I could tell there was a difference as back, neck and shoulder pain began to subside. I've completed the 8 weeks and will soon be going down to just 2 visits per week. I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Arnold is attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. He uses different adjustment techniques if he is not happy with how the neck and or spine is adjusting on a particular visit. He also wants to insure that nothing he does is painful. He gets you in and out of the office quickly. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Arnold took x-rays of my spine and neck and did an exam which made it very obvious to me that my spine and neck could use come work. I followed the treatment plan Dr. Arnold recommended by having an adjustment 3 days a week for 8 weeks. After the first appointment, I could tell there was a difference and I felt like standing up straight was easier. After 12 appointments, he gave me neck and spine stretches to do at home. And a few appointments later, he gave me 2 posture exercises. I've completed the 8 weeks and am now going down to just 2 visits per week. I am very pleased with the results. My husband (who has seen another chiropractor in the past) also started seeing Dr. Arnold. His prior chiropractor really pushed the supplements whereas, although Dr. Arnold does have them, he never pushes them. Besides adjusting his back, Dr. Arnold always asks if there is anything else he can do to help. In my husband's case, both his shoulders and elbows hurt. Dr. Arnold addresses those issues every visit and my husband says it really helps, especially as he does certain weight lifting exercises. Dr. Arnold is attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. He uses different adjustment techniques if he is not happy with how the neck and or spine is adjusting on a particular visit. He also wants to insure that nothing he does is painful.
