They sent out Irvin to give me a bid on a new Trane furnace and Air conditioner. I was surprised what the bid was, I was expecting it to be higher. He set up an appointment for the installers to come and take my old furnace and air conditioner out and install the new furnace and air conditioner. The installers were awesome. Made sure they put plastic down on my carpet. And if there was something that needed to be cleaned up, they vacuumed it up. They were so friendly and polite and did a awesome job. Also Irvin explained to me that there was safety things that needed to be added on the furnace and air conditioner. The installers were awesome and explained to me what they needed to do for safety reasons. Also the thermostat was too small for me to read. So they sent out a technician to fix the problem with the heat coming out of the furnace. He also replaced the thermostat with a bigger one. Also everytime I called for something, the ladies who answered the phone, were also amazing and made sure to send out the person that needed to fix the problem. Clynn of Whirlaway quoted us over $100 less than competitor for a next-day tank emptying. Also,…read morerather than requiring us to uncover the lid before he'd come, he came (though several hours late) and quickly found and dug it up himself at minimal charge. Clynn didn't add on a complex inspection. He said he's learned over 30+ years that if a leach field has problems, there will be scum rings in the access, so he watched for those, and also checked for holes in the tank by looking over the floor for dirt having fallen in. Clynn advised that a plumber could easily fix the one hole in our tank with patching cement, or we could do it ourselves (and gave instructions). He offered valuable plumbing counsel about changes we were making to our drain and septic lines. A competitor recommended we put in an entire new tank and leach field in our situation. (They offer tanks and leach field installations through a partner.) It would have cost $6,000-$10,000, and required extensive yard renovation. When we asked the county health department that oversees septic systems about our needs, they said our situation should actually not require major work. We added a significant tip onto Clynn's fee, and wanted to also pass along a hearty recommendation!!

Nate came up and gave an excellent bid to put in a split system which fit right in with the swam cooler ductwork. They also were half the price of all the other bids. They did the work promptly and professionally, and even came back to do a little bit of finishing work that I probably wouldn't have noticed otherwise. The service technicians had a difficult time explaining the items for the amount I was being charged, so I asked if they would be willing to call their office to help clarify. After talking with their office, the amount decreased 20%. I made a joke they should call the office again if that would be the result. I asked again if they could help me understand the new amount or break the charges out for me. They said it was the total of their hourly service rate. I asked what the amount was and if they would multiply by the number of hours of project took. The total decreased another 10%. I think intentionally charging people the incorrect amount is dishonest. Customers should be able to trust a business is charging them for what they received and not have to turn into an auditor.

Two holes they made through the outside wall were only partly sealed. I called and asked for a supervisor to come out. He made me more upset than the workers did. He said this is a BRAG job isn't it; like that should make any difference. Twice he said this is a construction site; no it is my home and it is where I live. When I showed him the broken tube he said "if they broke it". So I am a liar. Showed him a piece of tubing left laying on the floor he said "probably just over looked it".
