Many thanks to Melanie and the entire Ercolani family for an amazing tour of their wine aging caverns and a fantastic wine tasting lunch! Our tour began right on time and the history of this spot is really interesting as you learn about how underground Montepulciano was created. The care and attention that goes into crafting their wines is evident. After learning all about the process, you get to have lunch, drink wine, and have a great time in one of the larger rooms. With six types of wines and pairings of salami, prosciutto, bread, and olives, Melanie offered great detail on what we were eating and drinking. Most of our group also ordered wine to be shipped back to the US and had no problems. Our wine cases arrived about two weeks after our visit. read more
