new management took over about a year and a half i thought they would be better but i notice not…read morejust in my complex but the ones next to me across that most of the apartments were empty. it seemed like if not every day every other day a tenant was moving out and some haven't been there no more than a year. dont let a maintenance damage your personal items because they will say why weren't watching,do you have a receipt for something you brought over a year ago then say that well its old any way. their words" our guys move things out of the way they know what there doing and thats not the kind of tools they use we watch them work be they are careful and respect full to peoples property thats why you should watch them" even tho she offered me $5 for my damage property thats cost way more than that its the fact that THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE THERE EVERY TIME THESE GUYS ARE IN PEOPLES HOME LIKE THEY KNOW THERE EVERY MOVE LIKE THEY ARE SO PERFECT. Also ITS freezing durng the winter cause the buildings are just cardboard & crazy glue and lots of bugs, and insects and they keep going up on the rent like these are luxury apartments and they are to cheap to fix the grass but they make sure to mowe the dirt and sticks. oh did i mention that my apartment is slanted its like a my kitchen leans into the dining room and my bathroom also. these people just want your money and thats that. They HAVE MORE EMPTY APTS THEN TENANTS. THAT HAS TO MEAN SOMETHING.

Sadly I have a very mixed review with this moving company. They moved me at the end of this…read moreSeptember 2023. I used them due to a word of mouth recommendation from a co-worker that they were friendly with. Brian and his crew were very pleasant, hardworking and efficient. But Brian repeatedly dodged giving me a written moving contract saying he was just a small operation. I trusted him anyway because of my knowing the co-worker. After the 1st moving job they some how lost a glass shelf from my refrigerator that they said was left on a Uhaul truck they used and they promised to return or replace it. It's now November 2023 and that never happened! When I reached out to Brian a few times about it I got ghosted. I even asked the coworker to speak to him. He repeatedly lied & said he was working on it. I paid these guys $2000k for 2 separate moves(tips included)! It's going to cost me $125 to replace my fridge shelf. Not only that they did not install my stackable washer & dryer properly. Brian said it was because the plugs(whips) were not compatible with the outlets. He even offered to switch them over to the correct ones for a few extra bucks! None of that turned out to be true and I had to have other knowledgeable people assist me in a simple set up that was made even more difficult because the machines were placed in such a fashion that caused them to have to barely squeeze behind the machines to plug them in & hook them up to drainage & exhaust. The vinyl flooring under them was also damaged as a result of how the movers placed them down. Also only thing my washing machine needed was an extension cord! They were things they did do that were very good but I certainly will never use them again nor recommend them to anyone else! Buyer beware...

I had all the boxes packed & ready to go & all Mike & his helpers had to brake down the 2 bedrooms & move a very heavy roll top desk into my 3rd floor apartment & put back together the 2 beds & mirror dessert. New York Tree Masters - Cautiously maneuvering the machinery and cutting

Patrick and Eban were very professional, worked efficiently and were careful not to damage my fence where a lot of the branches were overhanging. They maneuvered their machinery with ease and caution. I appreciated that they constantly checked with me that they were performing the service to my satisfaction. They cut the downed trees into logs and stacked them neatly for my future use and removed and chipped the smaller branches. I would highly recommend New York Tree Masters to anyone who needed any type of tree service.

Alex came over to bid on two projects. -- There were two…read moretrees that I wanted trimmed on one project. He insisted that they must come down, it will cost the same to take them down as to trim them (of course, wink, and that's not the point). Neither of the other two that came to look said that they had to come down. -- On the other project, there were two trees with branches going over the next door property, one of them had branches rubbing the building facade next door. I wanted them removed for safety and property protection and liability reasons. He insisted that NY law states that the branches over the neighbor's property were the neighbor's property, and that they cannot be cut without the neighbor's permission. I told them that the neighboring landlord has never been responsive to attempts at communication, that I will send two emails, wait two weeks, and then we will cut the branches. That wasn't good enough for him, he said he didn't want to be liable and he left. My understanding of the law with regard to this is that it is the other way around: a neighbor has the right to cut branches from my tree over their property and that I cannot stop him from doing so, it is not that he can stop me from cutting branches from my tree over his property. After all, what if I wanted to cut the tree down altogether because it was sick or damaged? I couldn't because the neighbor wouldn't let me remove the branch over the his property? I checked with two other tree guys: they said that my understanding of the law is correct, and that Alex's understanding is wrong. I was actually certain that I was correct due to a similar problem I had at a previous home, but just wanted to check to be sure. Maybe Alex does understand but decided that he just didn't want the job and this was his way of backing out. But then he should just say so outright instead of this song and dance with a thick NY attitude. So, be forewarned. -- he did come out to look. That's more than you can say for a lot of tree guys. He gets 1.5 stars for that.
