They completed the work and within one year our driveway collapsed. I had to invest an additional $22,000 to repair the collapsed portions of the driveway. Here we are 6 years later and we have weeds growing up inbetween all of the pavers. A total disaster. I confronted the son about this at the time and he refused to do the work stating that it was his dads job even though we had a signed contract. When I confronted the son, just weeks after the original installation, he said that his company isn't Fermin that that was his dads company and refused to honor the defective work. My mistake was not to insist on the younger son to do the work. Again, a total disaster.... good luck if you get him to do any work.

Carlos had followed up with us and inquiring if we wanted to move forward with the demo. I had mentioned to Carlos we were now entertaining the idea of a renovation. He was understanding and asked us to contact him if we made a decision to go the demo route. This past week, Carlos followed up with us. He and his team did a great job in the sewer replacement. They came early on the days of the job and work diligently to complete the work. It was a pretty extensive job, digging two holes, one on the street, one on my property, then SDR 17 pipe was pulled from my property to the main. The Seaside city required the work to include paving the street with 20 ft by 10 ft asphalts to covered the hole on the street. That had took the whole day, but it was beautifully done. The material and amount of work required was actually more than the estimate, but Carlos stuck with the price of the bid. I really appreciate Carlos work ethic. I had worked with several contractors and they had all charged me additional cost on top of the bids. I would recommand Carlos for his professionalism, great communication and honesty.

I had been wanting to add on to my bedroom and had met with other contractors but the quotes I recevied were way out of my budget. I mentioned to Sabas I wanted to add on to my bedroom and asked him what he thought it would cost. He gave me a verbal estimate and it was so reasonable so I asked him to give me a written estimate for the shower, floors, and the addition. When I received the written estimate it was very detailed of what was included and in the same price range he verbally provided. I made the decision to move forward and he connected me with a archetect/designer to draw my plans for the addition. The process with both the designer and Cruz Construction was seamless and communication was so easy. As I worked with Sabas and his company over time I added the painting of my cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom, replacing the hardware on the cabinets, replacing a window, and re roofing my home. His employees were kind, hardworking, and reliable. They cleaned up after themselves, were quiet, and did superior work. I have worked with many contractors throughout the years. I have build 2 homes and completely remodeled another. This contractor was far by the best! Due to the amount of work I had done this company worked in my house on and off for almost a year. Sabas was always took my calls and responded to any texts or emails the sameday. He was helpful in picking colors and brought samples to me. Any issues that came up he handled immediately.
