We have our emissions tests done at Danny's as well. One time my car battery died (close to their shop) & Danny the owner came by to restart my car. I was forever thankful cuz it was an extremely busy day. We are usually able to get an appointment asap. If a car needs maintenance we're usually able to get it back after a day. If we are lucky end of the day for check engine lights, etc. (drop off early AM). Sometimes it takes time for parts to come in but it is still fast. My family & I like Danny for his honesty, quick turn around and nice humble personality.

Had the front/rear rotors & pads done on my 2009 Odyssey back in July 2022 for approx $700. Ivan…read moresaid he used Akebono coated parts which are suppose to be a premium product that I've used in my other vehicle with excellent results. The following spring, with only 10k km on these rotors/pads, I started to notice brake performance decline with it not really biting and needing to apply a lot more pedal pressure to stop properly. Brought it back for Ivan to inspect. He said rotors had a lot of rust, however, they were all suppose to be coated which greatly increases the time for rust to form. So, for rust form so quickly and so severe to affect performance in just 8 months and with only 10K Km since install....that just doesn't add up and Ivan wasn't able or willing to offer anything (possible defective warranty etc) other than to resurface them for an extra $100-200. That really didn't make any difference. So, I ended up going back to my regular guru who replaced all the pads with Power Stop shortly after. Fixed it and it was 100% better. Not sure if the issue was with the parts, the installer or a bit of both. Things just didn't make much sense to me and Ivan wasn't really taking any initiative or making any effort help me other than charging extra to hopefully remedy my issues. Lesson learned...Will keep to my guru from now on.

Bought a M3 recently, and after going through multiple forums, decided to check out Jimmy's Street…read morePerformance Auto! Jimmy wasn't around, so Canny/Kenny was the point man. He gave me estimates for the work I was looking to get done on the car. Just as we were leaving, Jimmy drove up and came in. Spoke more in detail and fixed up an appointment for the work. I was a tad late for my appointment and looked like my place on the hoist was taken by a CX-5. But Jimmy took my keys and Kenny drove my car through the back and into their 3 hoist. 3 Hydraulic Hoists in that space, Jimmy must be a busy man! Did the oil change (I brought the oil & the filter) for $25, cabin air filter change (I brought the filter) for $50 (the cabin air filters on the 1st gen M3's are messed up!), tightened the handbrake, and checked the suspension. All for $75 plus taxes (I didn't have the cash on me). Payment was by credit card, and they use Square for the payments. A satisfying experience, and I'll go back for further work on the car. P.S.: Canny/Kenny is a machine!!!

Just close your eyes and tell him to do what is the best for the car. Once in a while I have been surprised when he gives me a bill which is less than the estimate, typically when he could simply service the component instead of replacing it.
