I bought a Meyer lemon tree from MGC about 10 years ago (previous owner) and it did really well bearing fruit each year. I was anticipating citrus trees on sale that maybe had seen their day but no was I pleasantly surprised. The citrus trees were all in healthy condition and all of them were bearing fruit. I quickly bought one. The staff is very nice and will help you with your purchase to your car. The Center has healthy plants, flowers, trees, shrubs and garden products. They also have a gift store next door so if you need a gift for yourself, hostess gift or greeting cards they have a good selection.

Parking can be hard because it is all street parking. The moment I walked in, I was in plant heaven with so many beautiful and unique plants everywhere. I could spend all day looking at all the plants. They had some rare ones for really reasonable pricing too! I especially loved their rescue section, where you can find plants that just need a little extra love. It's such a fun way to score a great deal and give a plant a second chance. The staff here were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the whole shop just has such a positive, peaceful vibe. I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in Seattle!

Installation day came and there was TORRENTIAL rain - so bad that I was sure they would cancel. But nope - installer Heidi showed up right on time and got to work. She was cold and soaked through, but got all of the plants in. A few coleus didn't survive (too cold and wet for weeks after?) but most everything else is thriving. When we came home they had completely covered our lawn in compost and not raked it in to the point where our grass wasn't even visible. Our neighbors even commented on it and asked what had happened. We were charged for all of the work and the excessive compost and when we raised the issue to Michelle she said that they would be able to come back and fix the lawn, at their regular hourly rate. In addition to the over composting, the lawn wasn't properly edged and looks messy and areas we had asked to be composted were not. While the hedges were trimmed correctly, the customer service provided was terrible. I would expect this type of business to offer to make things right for their customers.

I sent an email saying that it did not look like what I ordered, and in particular, the white tiger lilies were missing. I heard nothing back. I followed up with a second email stating that I was not happy with the arrangement, that it looked nothing like what I had ordered, and to please view the picture of the arrangement that I ordered on their webpage to see what the arrangement was supposed to be and adjust it accordingly. Side note, I ordered three separate arrangements in three different cities that day and not only did the other florists get my order correct, but both were less expensive than Williams.
