I requested I be contacted in the morning to confirm he would be there the next day, I was not. I called and was told he would be out later in the day. At 5 o'clock on the second day an employee with minimal experience showed up. He gave me his opinion, I told him I would let the office know the next day what I had decided, and that I was unhappy that Alex didn't bother to show. Unannounced on the third day Alex came to my house. I told him I'd already signed a contract with another company, that I didn't require his service. He asked if I was having it cut down, I said no. He said 'you're wasting your money', as he glanced at my tree. I said I don't require your services, thank you. You can go. He said, "you asked for my opinion and I'm gonna give it to you!" I told him he didn't bother to show or call for the first appointment, he didn't show for the second appointment, I'm not using his company. Instead of an apology, he said 'This is your fault because you were impatient. You wanted to see me, I'm gonna tell you what you need to do!' I told him to get off my property, he refused to leave immediately, telling me I was wasting my money. I had to tell him a second time to get off my property, he yelled at me all the way to his truck. I have NEVER had an experience like that.

They remove a 46 in trunk and root and sliced the trunk because I wanted the wood for furniture and then ground stumps out and now have great tree mulch. In my experience, the process required…read moresigning numerous fine-print authorizations on the salesperson's laptop that effectively gave the contractor control over insurance payments and communications with my insurance company. I was repeatedly told not to worry because they would "take care of everything" and that my only responsibility would be paying the deductible. Several months later, after the company had already collected substantially more from the insurance carrier than I believed the work justified, I received what was described as a "final invoice." The document still did not include an itemized breakdown of charges, only a total amount due, and it included charges for work that I do not believe was completed. In addition Rhoden charges a 2.9% fee for using a debit card. Since Federal law makes it illegal to charge a processing fee for debit card transactions (Durbin Amendment to the Dodd-Frank Act), Rhoden plays the word game to try to grab another dollar by calling the fee a "convenience fee". Hiring Rhoden Roofing was a decision I regret. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage homeowners dealing with storm damage or insurance claims to be extremely cautious about assigning insurance payments or claim authority to a contractor they do not know and fully trust. I also strongly recommend obtaining multiple detailed, itemized estimates from reputable roofing companies before signing any agreements or authorizations.
