Mike Cannon is knowledgeable, helpful, and does great work. I've worked with Mike on one project, installing a dry hydrant on our water tank for emergency use. He did an excellent job with the install and his price was reasonable. I also just contacted Mike this week to get some advice on locating a leak in our water main. He ended up being too busy to fix it (he's in demand!), but his guidance set me on the right path to find the leak and get it resolved. Call Mike the next time you need work done on your well; I know I will. read more

Absolutely guardian angels! We got home from church to discover we had no water. With 6 kids....yikes. we called Cannons. Mike immediately called back, not only did he stay on the phone and guide us for some of the repairs, looking at photos thru text, AND got ahold of Conrad his son to meet us with a new electrical panel. Mike promptly responded and made sure we had water and even willing to come out Easter Sunday if needed! Thank you Cannons!!!!! read more

I am in Oregon and take care of my friend who has had a stroke and is now having to stay in bed. He notified me that he did not have water. I found Mike online and called. Mike was extremely patient with the circumstances given and he was able to identify the situation immediately. It did take two trips for him which was not his fault at all. He fixed the problem and my friend had water quickly from his well. I will refer Mike to anyone that asks for help with their well. He was also reasonable with his rates. Thank you so much Mike! read more

Our water went out in our old well and I couldn't figure it out. Called Mike and even though he was eating at a restaurant he asked me about the issues and set an appointment for the next morning. Christmas Eve and no lie, Mike arrived in the driveway right on schedule. I was shocked that 24/7 really does mean 24/7. Mike replaced the old well pump controller and we were back in business for Christmas! Mike runs that quintessential small business that gives you full service, full attention with the desire to solve the issues, not just clear a ticket. Merry Christmas Mike, thank you for saving us over the holiday. read more

We have had Mike out to service our well twice since moving to Grass Valley. This man is highly recommended and will come out and get your well back in service quickly. He explains everything and asks before replacing any part that needs to be replaced. When your water stops working you can not call a better company to fix your well. As a disabled veteran, Mike gave me a discount, and his bill was very fair, I was impressed with his professional service. read more

Woke up this morning with no water at our house. We called Cannon's at 7 am and Mike answered right away. He asked a few questions and asked us to send a couple photos of our well set up. He arrived within a couple of hours, diagnosed and repaired the issue within an hour. He also took the time to explain how our well setup worked how to do some basic testing for any future issues. I searched in Facebook and Mike came highly recommended sonó called him on a Saturday and luckily, Mike had an opening. I called and he came by within the hour. We had a water pressure issue. He checked out the pump, valves, floats tanks water lines etc. and asked great questions that helped figure out the issue. He could have said we needed this and that and we would have never known but he was honest and made recommendations regarding water use. He was very knowledgeable and helped us know how to manage our water and well better. I would highly recommend his service to anyone needing well service or repairs. It's great to find an honest family owned and operated company that does great work. read more

This is a standup business that does truly great work with integrity and friendliness. Mike the owner had a new pump in the ground within one day of diagnosis on a weekend no less! He was friendly from the start and amid the heat and pulling up a 100 ft of galvanized steel with a 3hp motor attached, was friendly throughout. We felt his pricing was very fair and of great value. I will recommend him, his son and Kevin anytime! Truly grateful to have found this business. read more

We had our entire system replaced by them around 10 years ago and had the pressure switch go out on us Saturday night. I called them early Sunday morning and got a call back with in an hour or so and after describing the issue, Mike confirmed we just need to replace the pressure switch and that we could purchase it from our local hardware store. Thanks you so much for your support. We highly recommend Cannon's well pump service and will be using them in the future for sure! read more

I call Mike my hero. When you're not getting house water and you can't even flush your toilet you want help fast. We have been calling Mike for our pump needs since we moved here 6 years ago. Unless Mike is up to his elbows on a job he answers the phone. You can also text him and get a fast response. We had 2 feet of snow and a hard to navigate road but it didn't stop Mike from getting here. He had to slog through the snow to get to our holding tank. Our fix was easy this time but I always feel confident that no matter what the situation Mike will handle it. He's also very easy to talk to and never makes you feel stupid. He will take the time to explain things and make suggestions. He never tries to sell you something you don't need. I hope he will continue for many years so I will always be able to call him when I need help. Thank you Mike. You are the best read more

I woke up on 4th of July to no water to the house on a day I had plans to host a 4th of July hang. Most well service places were closed but Mike at Cannons took my call and took the time to walk me through everything & get my well pump working again. Very nice guy & he truly saved the day. read more

These folks are INCREDIBLE! Sunday morning, holiday weekend, he's out of town ON VACATION and takes the time to help find the parts I needed AND walk me through the repairs! I offered to send some money and he waived me off in anticipation of future business. Highest possible recommendation for these folks! Thanks for saving my HOLIDAY WEEKEND! read more

Thankful for a contractor that answers his phone, returns calls, and follows through on a job/bid. Mike's the real deal and a straight-forward, honest guy. Our house had pressure tanks in the garage and we asked to have them relocated to the unattached well house. He did the job fast and at the price he quote despite it taking longer than he projected due to the addition of parts he didn't anticipate having to replace. Mike will be our well-guy from here on out. read more

Mike Cannon seems like a nice guy. He did what he was hired to do but then he was so petty that he scrapped a competitors sticker off my well house, then wasn't even professional enough to pick up the trash he scrapped off and just left it littering on my property. The reason I called him was because the other place lost my business and I wanted someone new! I'd chosen him but now I will never use him again. Be professional people...respect your customer. Your running a business and the customer is the only one paying your bills! You never have a right to scratch up and trash up a customer's property no matter what it is! This is coming from someone that's owned many successful businesses, please do better for your customer and yourself. read more

I called Mike yesterday because my water pump stoped. He said he was booked and i needed it fixed right away so he said let's do some troubleshooting over the phone, walked me right threw to find the problem and even told me where to go get the part. One day I will need that pump replaced and he will be the one I will call. He obviously saved me a service call but going out of his way and honestly making no money from me gained a customer in the future. Highly recommend this company. read more

Excellent custOmer service & so kind. I had a water line break in the middle of the storm. Mike braved unplowed roads & parked 1/4 mile away, carrying his tools up the hill to my house. He restored my water & was fairly priced. He will be my go-to person for pump service. I just can't thank him enough for his effort to help me. read more

I'm a new homeowner in Alta Sierra, Grass Valley. Came up on a Friday to check the house and noticed no water flow...anywhere. Checked the holding tank pump and heard what sounded like a dying pump. Called Mike at Cannon's (found via Yelp reviews). Mike said he would be there in 30-45 minutes. He showed up right on time. Tried to prime the old pump but it wouldn't take and so we pronounced it dead. He gave us several cost options for replacing the pump. We elected to go with the top of the line. Mike also checked the rest of the system and showed us several other components that were dying and or were not done to code. We had him replace the pump, check valve, some of the piping, a float and the holding tank lid. He also replaced the wiring between the pump motor and the breaker box and placed it in a conduit. Very knowledgable and very friendly. We knew very little about pumps or wells and Mike was very patient, teaching us the ABCs of having a well. Entire job was done in under 3 hours. We would hire him again and recommend him in a heart beat. PJ read more
