I call Mike my hero. When you're not getting house water and you can't even flush your toilet you want help fast. We have been calling Mike for our pump needs since we moved here 6 years ago. Unless Mike is up to his elbows on a job he answers the phone. You can also text him and get a fast response. We had 2 feet of snow and a hard to navigate road but it didn't stop Mike from getting here. He had to slog through the snow to get to our holding tank. He did what he was hired to do but then he was so petty that he scrapped a competitors sticker off my well house, then wasn't even professional enough to pick up the trash he scrapped off and just left it littering on my property. The reason I called him was because the other place lost my business and I wanted someone new! I'd chosen him but now I will never use him again. Be professional people...respect your customer. I called Mike yesterday because my water pump stoped. He said he was booked and i needed it fixed right away so he said let's do some troubleshooting over the phone, walked me right threw to find the problem and even told me where to go get the part. One day I will need that pump replaced and he will be the one I will call. I'm a new homeowner in Alta Sierra, Grass Valley. Came up on a Friday to check the house and noticed no water flow...anywhere. Checked the holding tank pump and heard what sounded like a dying pump. Called Mike at Cannon's (found via Yelp reviews). Mike said he would be there in 30-45 minutes. He showed up right on time. Tried to prime the old pump but it wouldn't take and so we pronounced it dead. He gave us several cost options for replacing the pump. We elected to go with the top of the line. Mike also checked the rest of the system and showed us several other components that were dying and or were not done to code. We had him replace the pump, check valve, some of the piping, a float and the holding tank lid. He also replaced the wiring between the pump motor and the breaker box and placed it in a conduit. Very knowledgable and very friendly. We knew very little about pumps or wells and Mike was very patient, teaching us the ABCs of having a well. Entire job was done in under 3 hours.
