My husband and I have been under Dr. Bolen's care for over nine years now. My husband seems to have "average" problems easily solved for the most part, but I have struggled with autoimmune issues for some time. I mention this because I have found through the years that Dr. Bolen really knows his stuff! He has always been able to solve every problem I come in with. He has never put me in a "box", assuming that what works on others will work for me. He sees each patient as an individual and will not give up until the problem is solved. If you are someone that has been to a Chiropractor in the past and had them perform what I call the "back cracking method", and either did not get better or didn't like this method (especially when they crack your neck!), take heart. Dr. Bolen uses a modern method called the Activator Method which uses load-force adjusting. Simply put, this means that instead of cracking your back, Dr. Bolen uses a T-shaped instrument that gently guides the subluxated (out of place) vertebrae back into place. To make a long story short, In the past I had a bad experience with a doctor who did the typical manipulation care and I thought I would never get adjusted again. Then I learned from almost everyone I work with that Dr. Bolen is the best and uses a method called "The Activator Method." I made an appointment and found that this type of adjustment uses a small hand held tool that Dr. Bolen uses in very direct points to make adjustments. Dr. Bolen, and his wife and staff are great!. Our family has been going to him for the past 12 years. He keeps all of us feeling wonderful especially our daughter with asthma. It took many visits the first year to correct her neck and spinal issues but then we have been on routine maintenance visits since then and it is worth it.
