Dr Ryan is great! Goes out of his way to make sure you're well taken care of, even if it's short notice.

Dr. Goodno was the answer. I ventured up to this office location to have an MRI done, along with an injection for contrast. Had a minor bump with scheduling my MRI but that was the only issue. Clean facility, with ample waiting room space. They got me back very quickly (wait time was maybe 5 minutes). Dr. Goodno performed the injection prior to my MRI appointment, and came in earlier to accommodate me so I could do the injection and then get slotted into the MRI immediately following that injection. I'm not a fan of needles but his bedside manner was great and talked through the process of the injection, along with the ultrasound to ensure the contrast hit the right spot. The MRI wasn't bad. Got earplugs and was able to finally doze off some after 10 minutes. It was supposed to be 45 minutes but it felt like 20 minutes. The MRI tech was friendly. I do wish I had some music during it. Overall process here was very quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than an hour. Would certainly recommend!

The front desk staff was very pleasant. I picked Dr. Jessica as my main therapist to work with. She was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, friendly and easy to work with. She explained the exercises in detail i.e. what I needed to do, how it should be done and which muscles the exercise was targeted to work on. My therapy was done three times a week, for period of eight weeks. Dr. Jessica printed the exercises for me to work at home so I can continue my exercises on the days I was not at the facility. The space was very open and there were many PT beds, treadmill machine, stationary bicycles, step stairs, ankle weights, long bands, knee press machines, etc to help with all kinds of physical therapy exercises one may need. I was so excited on the day my knees were able to rotate a full circle on the stationary bicycle. My knee became stronger and I was able to drive again in four weeks. I was able to bend my knee at 136 degree angle, from 60 degrees when I first started. The recovery was wonderful and the therapists were very encouraging to help me to achieve my goals to regain my mobility again. At times, there were student interns to help out and learn at the sessions. If you ever need PT work, please give this BenchMark PT clinic a try. There's easy parking outside the clinic. It was worth every dime to get my therapy here and all the therapists were very professional, knowledgeable, kind and wonderful to work with. No, I did not get any sympathy when I sometimes did not feel like doing some of the exercises. The therapists here kept on encouraging me to do the exercises. After each session, I was given an ice pack to be placed on the knee. Dr. Jessica has a great sense of humor to make me feel at ease. Thank you Benchmark PT for all you do. I am able to walk well and I still continue to do those exercises to strengthen the knee. I love the light and fun environment here. Their clinic hours are long and they will are helpful to fit you in the schedule. My orthopedic surgeon was very pleased with my progress done at BenchMark PT. Needless to say, I'm a very happy patient and highly recommend this clinic. Yelp # 87

My experience afforded a dispassionate, assembly line feel. During both visits, the doctor exuded an air of restrained impatience as if there were more important things he could be doing. He provided cavalier responses to questions that seemed important to me. He appeared to be eager to move on to the next patient, even after showing up 95 minutes late for my second appointment. Dr. Levengood recommended surgery immediately after reading the MRI report without actually seeing the MRI. If I'm going to have surgery done, I want it done by someone who has the time to get to know me and I him. Instead, I felt more like the next order at a Waffle House. Also, as seen in another review, he gave me a shot I didn't ask for, nor did he consult me. Thankfully, I didn't have an allergic reaction as the other reviewer described. The effect of the shot has been to temporarily reduce pain. While this may sound like a good thing, I've gone for a second opinion from a doctor who is far less eager to do surgery and now the shot makes it difficult to know if physical therapy is working. Consequently, making it difficult to decide whether or not to proceed with surgery. Now that I've received the EOB from my insurance, I can see that the shot was $97 of pure profit. Aside from the copay, it's the only thing on the bill that wasn't covered or discounted by insurance. As best I can tell, the $97 is not for what was in the shot. Just a fee for sticking the needle into my shoulder (Note: I can't verify this conclusion. I'm simply frustrated enough to make the assumption).
