Sadly, Holly was diagnosed with cancer at just 11. We knew she was in good hands with Dr. Marsh. We asked Andrew for guidance to help us make the best decisions for Holly during her illness. Holly was declining fast - we were heartbroken. He took all our calls and squeezed time in for Holly on his busy calendar. His support brought comfort and dignity to Holly in her final days. We think back on our last visit to the office and realized Dr. Marsh wasn't just providing healthcare for Holly; he was caring for us too. There was a connection between the doctor, the pet, and the family. We are very grateful for Andrew's help and that Holly had the best possible care. After examining Maddie he took her into a back room for her shots and returned with her a minute or two later to say that all was done. She was 15 years old with cancer and before we even decided on taking out the one tooth, we asked him if she needed to be put down, that would be better. We didn't want her to suffer more. But instead he wanted to make money off my elderly mom. He took advantage of the situation. She trusted this POS vet because it was an emergency. My baby went into surgery and went straight into a coma for "2 days" (we don't really know because when i called to check i didn't get an update for these 2 days and when i called the guy told me i had no business calling) the vet and his assistant are beyond rude and only steal money from you. This POS dare charged my mom for the extra teeth and 2 days of "in care and then hit us "oh and she passed, what do you want to do with her". HEARTLESS!!!!!!! My baby girl was so spoiled and to have her die in the hands of this evil vet. He didn't even call to tell us to say she was in bad shape or anything. My baby died in pain, alone and scared. Do not trust this place with your baby. I still cry about it. No one should have this done to them and then get charged for something we didn't ask for.

As sad as it is, I am left with the memory of the kind and caring way I and my kitty were treated through the years and especially on this last day. Dr. Sam, Dr. Rebecca, and their staff made the hardest decision easier to take, and now for me to live with. Very compassionate people. For them, this is a calling. At 77, I think I may not rescue another kitty but If one should find me, as has often happenned in my life, I will continue to use Westport Animal Hospital to care for my rescue. One other thing, in all the times I have boarded my cat she has always come home completely healthy, with no coughs or other issues. I love the fact that this facility is in an old house with a porch and an upstairs which I believe someone lives in because the boarded animals are not alone after hours.
