Me and my husband have visited this place a few times now. Whenever we are in the city we stop by. I would say so far our most favorite is Tiera. That girl has talent and it's natural the way she glides around and down that pole is true grace. Thank you Thera and the Candy Shop for a nice experience!! A true fan! read more

I'm a regular here but I went this time and walked out the vibes were bad and the lady's were a bit to old tonight imma young man it no young lady's on the floor and the security was a bit rude read more

Came here on a random wednesday last night with some friends and this place is such a vibe! The bartender Avery is my absolute fav, she's so nice and always made our drinks so fast! Will DEFINITELY be back! read more

Owner and his staff are friendly and accommodating. Service is superb. Clean place. Food was good.

Free cover for a reason I suppose. Most of the cars you see are the staff. Went about an hour after opening. They've got the music playing and a projector of random hip hop vids. Bar staff is friendly; drinks were all kinds of whack on the mixtures. They were out of ingredients on my first 3 drink choices. Between 2 beers it was like $30. And honestly the chicas weren't very motivated or anything that would get a "rise" out of the occasion. I felt bad for my friend who took pity on one and got the worst dance of his life. Better him than me. read more

This place is amazing shuttle to the bouncer Jontay. He is so awesome as well as that being said please come here and have a great time. They're very open to women coming here by themselves. This is a safe Haven. read more

I've been coming here for years, and it used to be one of the best clubs in town. Since the new owner took over, it's gone completely downhill. The atmosphere is tense, the energy is off, and it's clear the staff and dancers aren't being treated with the respect they deserve. You can feel the difference the second you walk in. Morale is low, service is inconsistent, and it's obvious that management has no idea how to run a club, let alone create a safe or professional environment. I'm not here just for drinks and a show-I'm here to support the people who make this place run. And right now, they're being treated like they're disposable. Until there's a serious change at the top, I won't be coming back-and I suagest you don't either. read more

The Ambiance here is amazing, definitely cool vibes the door guy was cool made me and my girls feel safe it so pretty in here with light up bars and twerk rails read more

Candy Shop - Bartenders - Strip Clubs Near Me - San Diego, California

Don't let what you see on social media fool you nowadays, very dead and not entertaining. We provide our own entertainment to not be mad we wasted the trip, they should've paid us. Have been a few times and in the past it was worth the trip. Management has changed more than I count in the last year? The dancers just sit there like they're guest but this ONE dancer, Divine. And that she is, the only one I would even think to give my money to, she could have it all. VERY VERY TOP TIER. I planned to take my family that is visiting soon to see her but apparently she doesn't work there anymore... Good luck to them. She was Candyshop. Would not recommend read more

Came to visit from the Bay Area met an great dancer, Divine, amazing on stage presence, and crowd catching performance, was enjoying my time until a few big roaches ran across mine and my friends feet and stole the show, not once, but multiple times. Was planning another trip and planned to come back solely to see Divine but apparently she doesn't work there anymore, will not be returning. read more

I'm sorry but I been going there seens comics to now and is the first time that they give us BS about what to do... we were the only ones giving money to most of the girls until one of the new security dudes that felt that he owns the palse kill our vibs seems we got there... I hope there fix that or I'm not going back there, my wife and I felt secure before. read more

Candy Shop is definitely a 5 star spot if you'd like to drink, party, and be entertained by beautiful women. They have a wide range of personalities and looks among dancers. The new drink menu is absolutely delicious. (All original cocktails are $18, before 8PM they are all $9) Beer bucket prices are also a steal at $30. Their bottle service menu challenges downtown club prices! (I can see why so many bachelorette and female birthday parties are celebrated here) The bartenders are amazing!! Sergio and April are among my favorites for the days I go in to chill and watch the stage. The dancers are AMAZING on stage!! Some of these girls are doing drops from the ceiling and catching themselves before they hit the floor. It had me shook when I first saw!! There is a patio where you can smoke cigarettes and cannabis, although they do sell hookah by the hour inside. On the patio you'll be able to smell the sweet scents of the taco and Asian fusion vendors outside Fri-Sun. 100% recommend the bulgogi fries from the Asian fusion vendor and the adobada tacos from the other vendor. Overall this is now one of my favorite venues because the staff is always so welcoming and the dancers are even sweeter!! Get your sugar fix at Candy Shop!! read more

From the entrance, to the club, to the women's bathroom, to the service, the shows on stage, and all the beautiful staff... Candy Shop has outdone itself! There was a group of 15 of us (guys and girls) who came from Orange County for the Grand Opening and every single one of us had a blast. It was unlike any club I've ever been to and exactly what California needed to spice life up a bit and be able to have fun. Will definitely be back!! read more

We found the newest sweetest place on earth! Top to bottom, Candy Shop is incredible and they clearly thought of everything - from the fun and stylish decor, to the gorgeous talent and of course the amazing service - it is so much more than a nightclub - it's truly an experience. I was pleasantly surprised that the Candy Shop lived up to my expectations. I arrived and was ready to leave because it seemed dead for a Friday night. Luckily, I decided to wait and was treated to a bevy of beautiful ladies and top tier performances. I will definitely be coming back to Candy Shop sooner than later. read more

I LOVE this spot! This is THE club to be visiting if you're in San Diego. First of all, the decor is high class, beautiful, and eye catching. The dancers are beautiful, sweet, and down to earth! The DJ plays the best music, and has great energy. Miimii, Sunny, and Jessie are some of my favorites! All the dancers are beautiful, and there is a wide range of diversity amongst the women, which I love. The bartenders are awesome, the security is great, and the guy working the front are all so friendly and welcoming! read more

Erika is why this place gets such a high review. She is by far the best bartender I've ever had. She's sweet and really knows how to make a good drink read more

I walked into this establishment and there was 1 dancer at the center of the room. I did not see anyone else but maybe 5 guys standing at the bar. This place needs a miracle. read more

From the moment you walk in this place is a great distraction from the outside world. There's a lot of positive energy here. I think they must've got new management, but there's a complete different vibe in here than anywhere else, it's a very fun easy going atmosphere. The drinks are always on point thanks to their awesome bartender , the girls here are phenomenal, especially Alexandria. She's basically the only reason I come in there. She's very funny and always has a good energy about her not to mention how gorgeous she is. if you're in the area definitely come check it out yo won't be disappointed :) read more

Terrible Establishment. Would not recommend. General manager is unfriendly and they have girls who are all drunk and unprofessional.

Been here a few times already and what I like most about, is the staff are always alert with the customers making sure they're are being well taken care. read more

Beautiful bartender...whoops forgot her name. Poured some stiffness and had a great personality. First time I've ever seen dancers NOT take their clothes off. In their defence, it was empty. But damn... I wanted to see titties! Really nice place tho. I bet when it's poppin it'd be funner. But that bartender...pretty amazing. read more

The atmosphere is something I've never seen here in San Diego, coming from a San Diego native. People with a sweet tooth will love the entrance, a sweet surprise ....lead to a venue that's spacious and vibrant. Staff is welcoming and ensure the safety of not only the customers but the beautiful ladies as well. I entered a place where I felt like a VIP already ! Drinks are poured at the longest bar I've seen with welcoming bartenders and entertainers that look phenomenal! Each one having their own style. To say I enjoyed my time here is an understatement. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality! I will absolutely be back! read more

The bartender, Kassie, looked stunning and her remarkable personality and enthusiasm made the whole experience at Candy Shop extraordinary. This incredible location is a completely reimagined gentlemen's club. The ambience is groundbreaking with a huge mesmerizing digital LED chandelier at its center. The bar area uses an innovative luminous color changing countertop. But I digress, Kassie was amazing, wonderful and truly one of a kind. Short hop. read more

Kassie is the best bartender there! Highly recommend! Definitely ask for her. She's a sweetheart!

This place will have you questioning where you are, because surely San Diego has never seen anything like this entertainment venue before. Candy Shop welcomes you with an actual candy shop (speak easy style) where you can buy real candy before entering the club, once you're inside you're surrounded by walls covered in beautiful FUN artwork and catchy neon signs that make you want to take a pic at every turn. I went opening weekend and I was blown away by the number of beautiful girls in one place- they all had great energy and knew how to create a party. There were choreographed shows throughout the night with pole dancers, acrobats, and even fire dancers! The artsy decor carries over into the ladies room, which is well maintained and just as lovely as the rest of the club. For opening weekend I am pleasantly surprised with how seamless their operations appeared, from hosts to management, to bartenders and bottle service girls. The energy was amazing and the music had everybody moving, can't wait to go back! read more
