Their anise and cola flavored hard candy are outstanding, but the clear winner is the bergamot. That's right - of Earl Grey fame, they actually have bergamot flavored candy, and it's SUPER delicious. Their website is in Danish and doesn't machine translate well, but it looks like for 50 DKK, you can get a 200gr bag of sweets. I don't care what the international shipping is, there is more bergamot flavored candy in my near future. I'm eating the last of my bergamot drops as we speak...and it saddens me. The staff looked thrilled to be dealing with the kids going ballistic in the shop, but I don't expect theme park employees to be bursting with pride and excitement for their jobs. However, they're about the only unfriendly people I've run in to so far in Denmark. But...it's worth it.

Stand out flavors: Chili Lime: lots of strong lime and just when you think "where's the chili?" it hits you. Orange: like candied orange peel flavor in a ganache. Caramel: good rendition Cream buns: a local specialty we'd seen everywhere and had not tried until here. Glad we waited for a good place to do it. They are thin wafer bottoms with a very soft marshmallow topper. In the center of the marshmallow goes a filling--traditionally vanilla cream but this shop has several flavor choices and we picked salted caramel. The whole thing is then covered in chocolate. This was good, and the caramel was good. They offer CLASSES which would be fun to do on a family trip! Cream buns are one of the things they teach.

We were ridiculously excited to shop at Tiger when we arrived in Copenhagen, and it did not disappoint. (I think Tiger was seriously the highlight of our time in Copenhagen.) Tiger is kind of a cross between a dollar store and IKEA. It is amazing. Prices are cheap, and the items aren't just cute, but functional too, as they have a variety of housewares. Due to luggage weight and size restrictions I couldn't buy a lot, but I did buy a few random bits and pieces. One of the items my sister and I bought were those pink luggage tags with the red heart (I'm sure everyone who's been in a Tiger store knows what I'm talking about). While waiting for our luggage at the airport we saw several suitcases sporting that tag, and figured that it must be a common item at some store. So when we saw them at Tiger, we each bought one, just for the sake of it. I wish there were a Tiger store in Vancouver!
