What a darling little shop! Looking for something fun and unique? Try The Candle Kitchen. Our Book Club went there and it was fantastic! What's the deal? * Grab a clipboard and pen. Smell the different scents (look to be over 50 different kinds). Write down your favorite. * Pick a container to make your candle in. They vary in size and price. * Grab a stool at the counter. Tell the Candle Kitchen specialist your top three or so favorite scents. * You'll smell your favorites together to find your favorite scent combination. You may be surprised what smells great together. * Add the scented oils a little at a time to the shot jigger. Mix the oils until the jigger is full. * The Candle Kitchen specialist will pour the hot wax into the container and you pour your "shot" of oil into the wax and stir. * Pay and pick your candle up later in the day or the next day. This place is neat and offers a different type of experience for someone looking for something to do. Great for dates, mom/daughter/son dates, parties (I booked my daughter's birthday party here!), and groups. There is a private room in the back for groups. The counter seats about 10 people. There are a large variety of scents, from fruity to flowery to clean to manly! The prices seem reasonable and comparable to paint your own places. Great for gifts, too! Make someone a candle or give them an empty gift Candle Kitchen jar so they can enjoy making their own. I'm keeping mine! And you can bring back your old Candle Kitchen jar to make another candle ($1.00 off)!

They chose the Candle Kitchen and had a great time smelling all the smells and creating their own scent.

We own a 10 needle embroidery machine that has been causing problems and errors for 2 years. Took…read morein for repairs by "experts" in both Phoenix and Seattle, but was to no avail. (Even after they claimed post testing was fine...) Very frustrated with continuing problems, we took the machine into Tom here at Craft Addicts. His efforts proved invaluable, as he fixed the problem, and his wife ensured post test actually was good before returning it to us. A great team and very friendly to deal with!!. THANK YOU!

I heard about this place from word on Facebook. When I went to check it out for myself, I was…read moreshocked; I was expecting a tiny shop packed to the gills with yarn, but this place is spacious, with tons of different notions, yarns, books, sewing machines, and embroidery kits and thread, among other things. The staff are super sweet and kind. As soon as my toddler and I walked in, we were greeted kindly and patiently. The cashier I spoke to was also super friendly despite trying to do the inventory and take care of us. She does an excellent job, since the shop is better stocked than a lot of the big box places I've been to and they don't have the advantage of the self-inventorying point of sales system that a lot of big box places have. I usually order my needles and notions because I like to use one particular brand and was thrilled to see it here. It's really hard to find the interchangeable cables for this brand in the smaller sock lengths I like to use even online and I was excited to see them here. I will definitely be back; this place will easily be my go-to for embroidery floss and needles, in addition to yarns. If they end up getting a spinning section, I will never have to shop online again!
