She never once apologized, stated it was not her fault that she received the flowers closed and not opened. As a florist company, if you receive flowers that are in poor condition you don't make the arrangement anyway in hopes the customer won't notice, you get new or you reach out the customer! This florist doesn't do that! They don't take ownership of their arrangements and then won't refund you when you're devastated. Worst thing was, this was for my grandmothers funeral! If I could give them a negative number I would! I referenced the arrangement below so it was visually seen.

We were excited as it was 5pm and they were open until 10 (typically on Saturday wineries are only open until 6). So, we went in, hoping to do a wine tasting and share a bottle on the patio. We were told we couldn't do a tasting since there was a wedding going on. Okay. So we tried 2-3 samples so we could order a glass we liked. The very few we tried were ok. We were at least able to pick one. Then we went to the patio. Photos of the view are attached. Beautiful view of an alley and someone's house and some cars. The best part is over our speaker we heard this couples entire wedding ceremony. We could see it through the patio doors too. Talk about uncomfortable. I'm thinking the winery should close to the public when they have a wedding ceremony going on - since we couldn't get the same service and had to listen to someone's wedding. What a strange experience. Good thing we never come through Sully, Iowa! Seemed like it could've been a cute place...if it closed for weddings.

Jen over at Salvaged Designs found the best and most beautiful way to honor my aunt as she watches over me in the kitchen now. And while I'll never be able to make her spaghetti I have this beautiful reminder of the love that will always exist. Jen went above and beyond to bring this piece to life. I just provided the recipe, and she did the rest, and even framed it so beautifully. I'm forever grateful. I trust this woman with my LIFE. Windmill Mall has a lot of spaces with lots of antiques and collectibles to peruse. The space is a…read morebit cramped with a single path through the space (on both floors) and on a busy day would be hard to maneuver. However, Windmill Mall has the same problem that far too many other consignment/antique outfits have, an overblown sense of worth. Now, this isn't probably Windmill Mall's fault but that of the people renting space, but nonetheless... We went through and looked through lots of items and of course there is the usual mix of cool and crap but ALL of it is marked at such high prices that there was just no chance we'd be buying anything. To say everything is twice as much as we would be willing to pay is probably being generous. You'd have to REALLY want something to spend the prices being asked with far too few real gems to be found that might be worth the reach in prices.
