As a two-time cancer survivor, I've seen my share of physicians...so I do not hand out compliments easily!!! When I entered office, I noticed rhe cutest yorkie sitting behind the reception desk. I thought it was a bit odd but, as a dog lover, I was amused. As I was called back, Dallas (the yorkie) led the way to the treatment room. It was then that Dr. Nelson introduced me to Dallas, the office's emotional support dog. Dallas stood on her hind legs to greet me, then promptly settled on my foot. She did not leave my side the entire time However, I was most impressed that Dr. Nelson took the time to read my medical history. She actually knew all about the reason for my visit and my history. Usually, I find myself getting angry during medical appointments because it soon becomes apparent that the doctor has not read thru my medical history...why make us fill out the forms it you are not going to review them! So, a big thank you to Dr. Nelson for doing her homework! Long story short, I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Nelson...and Dallas!

He was given a Holter monitor to test his heart for a couple of weeks, and the procedure to fit him was very quick. We were offered to meet via Telehealth video meeting earlier than scheduled, but were not able to take advantage of that.

We came in to VHC and got prepped by the wonderful nursing staff. Borelli was coming in when she noticed an irregularity in the labor. She put an action plan in place that would eventually allow our daughter to have a natural issueless birth. Seeing the nicu team come in was probably one of the scariest things I've had happen and Dr. Borelli was professional and talked us through the birth. The actual delivery was quick and all's well that ends well. Now we have a baby girl that is happy and healthy. We couldn't ask for any more than that.

I went to him for a second opinion for my surgery and he was just great. I wish i met him before this other guy parading as a surgeon. Dr Duckett's bed side manners r excellent, he is soft spoken and actually listens to you. He was of no rush to leave. The night before my surgery he called me to let me know that i should not worry he will do his best to make sure my surgery goes well. What a relief and what a surprise that was? I think this was the best thing he could have ever done for his patient. on the day of the surgery he came to my bed side and cracked jokes with me therefore making me less anxious. After the surgery he called me at home later that evening to see how i was doing" r u in any pain, did u take your pain medicine, do u have any questions, call me at any time if u feel any pain or u r uncomfortable. When I asked about it, they were extremely hostile (so I guess they've gotten this complaint before) saying it was their private business and they could do what they pleased and the receptionist was a minister and this is how their clients liked it, etc. etc. I was extremely put off. Would never recommend this practice. They don't seem to realize that while their office may be private, they are providing a community service--and one that needs to put patients at ease.

Everything was done properly and a follow up was set and plenty of information for me to take back and numbers to contact in the even of a question. I had an abortion in January and felt pretty comfortable with the environment (aside from the janky elevator) up until the actual pre surgery examination. A few of these staff members really shouldn't be in this field. The quality of care I received was horrendous. The actual procedure happened and went smoothly, until I woke up in a massive amount of pain. I've have also had an abortion previously, and I knew that this level of pain was much worse than I had experienced. I actually threw up it was so bad. I expressed this to the staff and the doctor. The staff gave me pain medication which definitely helped, and when they took me back so the doctor could look, he was very condescending and told me that I was sensitive and that everything was normal. He made me feel like I was crazy. I was bleeding more than normal, and I told staff and they told me it was fine. Im still bleeding today. At my follow up appointment (which had been rescheduled twice) I got there and they were completely short staffed. I have previously worked in a medical office so I was okay with waiting 30 or 45 minutes past my appointment time. I was not okay with the receptionist telling me as I entered the door that they tried to call me to reschedule, and walked away before I could speak. I was also not okay with waiting an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time in order to be seen for a follow up ultrasound that should have taken 5 minutes. I brought up my concern to the woman at the desk and instead of apologizing or telling me what was going on that required such a long wait, she said they were setting up my room and gave me a forced and fake smile and rolled her eyes. I noticed other patients who arrived after me were being seen. I was frustrated and felt unheard. When I was finally called back, I expressed this to the receptionist who handled it horribly, with a verbal altercation. I have never in my life felt so disrespected by someone, especially someone working in such a sensitive field, a field that requires compassion. I was put into my room where I heard her and the doctor as well as other staff CACKLING about the argument and myself. I wanted to cry. When the doctor came in (her supposed boss) he ignored what I had brought up to him about the receptionist and the service I was being given. Instead he stuck by her side and didn't apologize for anything. For the ultrasound, no warning, just shoved the device inside of me. He rotated the screen toward me to show me a massive fibroid that was in the same spot as my previous pregnancy. This explained the pain and the bleeding. Why hadn't he noticed it before??? Why after the ultrasound, did he not explain what uterine fibroids were? Why did he not explain treatment? Why was I not receiving care??! So in conclusion, DONT GO HERE if you want to be treated like a human being. GO HERE IF you want to be bullied, minimized, unheard, disrespected, and ESPECIALLY go here if you want the kind of treatment I had with a heaping side of medical gaslighting. This Dr. should not have his license, let alone be practicing in a facility that is geared towards young women who are in vulnerable situations. I worry about the safety of other women. I was then asked to schedule an appointment to discuss it in person. During the appointment, Dr. Juggu assured me the note would be sent by the end of the day, but I still have not received it. The staff has been very unprofessional in handling my calls, and the doctor indicated he was busy while making promises that were never fulfilled. At this point, I no longer feel I can trust this office.
