I have been playing acoustic guitars for 30 years. The reason I go to JB other than the 3…read moreincredible pre-owned Gibson, Guild and Godin Classical guitars i've purchased from him over the last decade - is that there is a trust with him that I appreciate as a customer. While JB mostly sells vintage acoustic guitars - you need to trust that what he sells will be issue free. Tonight I had one small issue with a recent purchased higher end acoustic guitar. JB immediately didn't try to play a blame game - he said "Let me look at it and I will fix it and make it right or return your money". That's the trust I talk about when I say JB sells not only the best vintage acoustics in the area - but he is a standup guy. That's the reason I continue to support JB Kline in Lambertville. - Ryan Cohen

Stopped in this past weekend and was not disappointed. While no where near the quantity of records that Nickles carries, I picked up 10 albums to add to the collection including a couple that are very rare in the wild. Usually when you see them they start at 35 each and I've seen them as high as 75. Got the pair for 24!!!! Sweet!!! When checking out had a great conversation with the clerk about some of the artists that I had purchased. Overall real nice afternoon. I will be back.

In August I stopped by Clemmers in person because I couldn't reach anyone by phone for a while or leave a message. The clarinet had lost the claim ticket and instead of an estimate, it was repaired. It is a Selmar instrument. My end of the claim ticket states after 60 days the store can keep the instrument. I paid $375 for repadding and repairs. The mouthpiece was missing so I returned to Clemmers and they gave me a Bundy mouthpiece with a bent ligature. In February when my son added private lessons in addition to group school lessons the teacher said the keys where not making full contact with the body of the instrument. I took it for an assessment in Pottstown and was told the pads were the wrong size and it was not aligned. I wrote to the owner of Clemmers with this information from the second assessment and left my cell number, email address and home address and no one contacted me. Today I had a few minutes so I stopped by on my way home from work and spoke with the owner. He said I should have brought the instrument back and the person who repaired it the second time was not certified to repair it like his wife is. He said she is one of only 24 people people certified in woodwind repairs. So he cant do anything. Which is probably right. Be careful. My interaction with Clemmers was awful starting when I dropped the instrument off for an estimate.
