I've learned more from the am highschool esthetic teacher and she literally came in and talked to us for a hour. Our teacher will do 1 demo on a subject 1 time and throw us to the wolves. Everything is on us. If we have questions our questions aren't even answered correctly. I don't trust that I'm getting the right information so I have to resort to YouTube... Which is kind of insane in this field because we are literally working on peoples faces..... Once she teaches us the demo we are expected to practice on our classmates but if we are doing it wrong we'd never know because our teacher doesn't watch what we are doing ever. If you want to learn anything about lashes DONT COME HERE because we no longer can even practice tabbing on mannequins due to our teacher not knowing how to do it. This review was made in 2024 idk if anything has changed but I found this in my drafts and thought I should post it.

So many resources for people to train for jobs, get help with resume writing, open up a new business, gain/improve skills, or just take a cooking class. I know of teachers who come in on the weekends in order to help students prepare for contests, interviews etc. Staff has pulled together to donate suits and interview "clothes" for students who need it. Adult students looking for career changes have lots of classes from which to choose. Businesses ask Moore Norman to develop and implement training for them. This place is outstanding!

I was in cybersecurity program with a teacher named Mrs. Millican, If you're an adult looking for cybersecurity program, this is not the one or at least the first year, I spent half the year with no teacher & when she did come in, we would go over maybe 5-10 page slides & that would be all the teaching she would do for the whole day, & she would sit at her desk, on her phone & do her own school work while she had 18 kids to teach by the time the end of the semester rolled around, 3 out of the 18 students passed the core 1. Overall MNTC cybersecurity is abysmal, you sit front on a computer watching several 10 mins video, with no teacher because she didn't know or how to engage with us, no hands on learning. There's a reason Oklahoma is ranked 49th in edu & unfortunately this class proved why.

His classroom was a relaxed environment where I could focus on my work and enjoy my music without disturbance. He offered opportunities for creativity and freedom for students to make calls on their projects. When I was nearing to exit the program, he gave me some reality checks about how the world would be outside of class and how it would be owning my own place. Mr. Means gave me good life skills and drafting skills and because of that, I was able to start my own business going successful for 2 years.

Our team chose 2 separate rooms, hosting 25 in 1 room and 50 in the second room. The staff is friendly and very helpful and very knowledgeable. In the main building there's a cafeteria and in the 300 building where we are, there's an ice machines and vending machines. Great plains is very accommodating for hosting seminars.

Just from walking into the main entrance I was asked by various staff members rather quickly if I needed anything while I waited, how I was doing today, "oh I remember you" and coming from a guy that grew up in a small town I really appreciate that and it hits me right in the feels. For the program I help guide I know the instructor is doing great things because of the interactions I have with the students. They're polite, respectful, responsive, and intelligent. I've been doing this for a few years now and it's great to see these next generation individuals step up and fight off the social norms that can give others a bad impression of them.
